COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Brewed with 39% of Sangiovese wine wort, fermented with wine yeast and refermented with champagne yeast.
Produced at Azienda Agricola Tenuta di Bibbiano.

Beautiful beer! Pours clear red, with a huge head that disappears fast. The aroma is sour and vinous, with a fruity hint. The mouthfeel and carbonation is very delicate and (similar to a Champagne). The taste is very unique, and almost more like a rose than a beer. I like it, but if you are not into sparkling wines, you will probably not enjoy this.

A very unique beer. Pours a very cool syrupy orange. Smells like wine, some peach and honey. Taste is very much like white port. Saison comes in at the end, along with the peach and honey sweetness. Had in the bottle at La Trappe's Italian event. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a dirty red color with aromas of dusty fruit, and some dirty yeast, flavors follow suit, a disgusting sour over all, don’t drink this if this is your first beer to this style.

Bottle 75cl @Mondial de la bière. An amber orange beer without head. Nose is on over ripped fruits. Aroma is sweet with sour touch, fruit liquor notes, peach, quetch, medium sour, good complexity, pleasant, caramel and apple at the finish.

Pours a murky rosey rust color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is dirty barrel, musky grapes and confusion. The palate follows with a heap of disjointed strange flavors that never really gel into anything enjoyable. Touch of aspirin, rotten compost... not diggin drain pouring this $25 purchase but Im certainly not going to finish it.

24/03/2013 750ml bottle @ La Tana (thankd Dario for sharing!). Rosa antico, lievemente torbida, schiuma leggera che svanisce rapidamente. Aroma vinoso, sentori di champagne, acidulo, frutta rossa e malto, leggeri off flavours.

Bottle shared at the March tasting in Santa Cruz. Tastes like half-fermented grapes and ethanol with a vague blonde ale base. Meh.
