On tap at Coles. Appearance: golden orange with a small whispy white head. Aroma: nicely hoppy with hints of pineapple, yeast & corriander. Nice. Flavour: Initially quite hoppy, bitter with lots of yeast and a resounding pine-ness, lovely juicy mouthfeel. Delicious long bitter finish.

Light yellow in color. Foam recedes but really sticks to the glass. Medium hop bite that fades gracefully into traditional pilsner taste. A little tinnyness and sone fruit notes

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Coles, Buffalo NY. Deeper yellow/gold pour. Aromas of saaz hops & malts. Taste is consirably hoppier than most pilsners. Not a one dimensional European hop flavor either. Definately some DFH influence here. Solid bitterness. 7.5% is well represented here. Very good Pilsner

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Rustico’s Alexandria. Dark gold pour, nice off-white head. spicy, fruity nose. Odd, hard-candy-like fruitiness up front with a nicely bitter finish. Interesting, but I don’t think I’d drink more than one.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at redlight redlight. Pours a cloudy gold, white head with minimal lace. Grassy hoppy nose with hints of bright malts and roasted corn and wild flowers. The flavor has a candy, bubblegum sweetness up front but finishes with a bold bitterness. Well balanced and a pretty tasty beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light golden pour with a frothy white head. Mouthfeel is bizarrely creamy with an almost whipped feel. Olives, lightly bitter hops, lemon rind in the aroma. Flavor is yeasty, with lemon and a bit of bitter hops and light floral flavor. Oily, with a Dry finish. Interesting but pleasant

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft… Mostly clear, light golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet is of pilsner malt, toffee and sharp, spicy, earthy hops. Full-bodied and a touch oily with busy carbonation. Leans on the bitter side of balance - very nice, sharp hop bite. Finishes bitter and dry.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on tap at Church Key DC 10/22/09: Pours a hazy pale golden with an airy pillowy white head. Has a sweet pale malty nose with some fresh grapefruity grassy hops and a touch of light fruiity floral notes. Starts with good fullness and sweet biscuity pale maltiness with a nice balance of resiny citrusy hops and crisp bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish. Pretty well-balanced and true to style.
