Pours a nice clear golden color with plenty of foamy white head. Citrus, pine, and lots of hops on the nose, with a little spice; follows onto the palate. Medium-bodied, decent mouthfeel. Finishes nice and clean with some nice hop resin.

330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (4.20):
Citrus, orange peel and some spices, the beer is quite hoppy for a lager and some pine and bitterness comes through early on. Malty base with faint biscuit & sweetness rounding things off.
Light, clear amber with a 0.5cm, creamy looking head that is a white & holds well, leaving some nice lacing and stopping short of going patchy on the surface.
Grassy hops with some citrus & pine with a malt base & some sweetness making an appearance alongside some biscuit & spice. Orange, pineapple & tropical fruits all come through as well.
Thicker than I expected, coming around just past medium bodied & it seems fairly well carbonated with a pleasant citrus tang and a crisp, dry finish. The alcohol content is very well hidden throughout with a sharp feel that goes down well.

A nice beer with a good malt and citrus base, some pleasant fruits and a good balance between flavours. The alcohol content was very well hidden and the beer was a good, highly drinkable one.

Per tractar-se duna imperial pils s bastant llupolitzada, amb un aroma que enganxa molt. Por tratarse de una imperial pils es bastante lupolizada, con un aroma que es muy adictivo.

From a bottle. A very nice beer, well balanced and smooth, malty and the right amount of hops. Could drink it all night.

Slightly hazy translucent straw-gold with thick fluffy fine head. Smells of pineapple, grassy hops, resin, some alcohol. Very juicy aroma, esp. for a pilsener. Tastes of heavy dry hops, a touch of peppery clove. Bitter dry spicy finish. Has an underlying dryness like pilsener but lots of flavour and a nice slickness in the body that's unexpected for a pilsener. Very tasty, hoppy and drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Slightly hazy golden pour with big head. Pilsnery pineapple aroma with fruity hoppy hints too. Taste is big fruity hops with a bit of grassiness. Sweet. Followed by bitter hop finish - not as dry as you'd expect for a pilsner, and almost more like a bitter IPA. Very good - would definitely buy again.

Very hazy with decent head. Has nice crisp lager flavor but with a higher alcohol taste. Would definitely buy again.

Big big lager. Nice and hazy with soft diffuse head. Big hop profile as expected which just succeeds in tempering the slightly boozy sweetness. Overall great but not a patch on the BA version.

Mooie oranjegele kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, citrus, bloemig en iets caramel. Smaakt lekker bitter en iets zoet, hop, orange en grapefruit. Goede bittere afdronk.
