Lightly hazy, golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, citrus fruits, some floral hops, grass, toffee, and light alcohol. Taste of toasty malts, more citrus, grass, light sweetness, but finishing fluffy, dry and crisp.

Very pleasant aroma to this one. Taste is slightly resinous with citric hops (lots of orange and lemon), buttery biscuit and toffee. Full mouth feel and quite a lengthy bitterness. Very nice beer

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 CamdenD (816) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAY 18, 2012
Wholly different level, this one. An ’IP’ and therefore a bit stickier on the mouth. Long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Shockingly abrasive nose. Wow.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nocturne (140) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2012
Sample at Ølfestival 2012. Hazy gold with a small white head. Impressively hoppy. There’s a sweet maltiness but it’s balanced out by the bitter floral hops. Nice. A big honey vibe too. Mouthfeel is pretty full and it goes down very easily. Very impressive stuff. I’ll have to look out for more beers from Del Borgo and beers of this style.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 jmagnus87 (766) - Carbondale, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2012
750ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a lightly cloudy off-orange with about 4 fingers of thick white head. Aroma is very bready. Citrus, lemon and pepper. Taste is light bitter and very very lightly sweet. Citrus, bread and caramel with a touch of hay. Full bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. I would gladly drink this again.
