Imperial Pilser" realizzata con Sam Calagione del birrificio Dogfish Head (USA). Pils, Carapils, Simcoe, Warior, Saaz <nt>

Bottle of 33 cl. 7.5%. Perfect and persistent foam. The nose of fresh hops and herbal notes. In the mouth it’s like I imagined: the bitter and long is impressive. Despite this it still feels the sweet presence of malt. Great beer!

Sample @ Voldby Ølfestival 2016. Golden pour with a huge frothy head. Notes of grains ,hay, citrus fruit, lemon zest, grassy and some light booze.

Farven er orange gul, med en hvid vedholdende skumkrone. Aromaen er citrusfrugter og noget græs, medens smagen er grape og krydderier med en varm afslutning.

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. A good looking one this. Almost a little glowing, quite cloudy and what’s best described as straw-orange in color. It also has a good looking medium sized quite lacing white head. Smells really nice also. Wheaty with citrus and some sort of spices. There’s also a flower freshness detect here. Well hopped also, without being too much. Really like the way this smells. Well, it’s not as tasty as it smells. Pilsnerish and a little metallic. A nice oily mouthfeel and a just above average carbonation level. Mild metallic and it’s not hard to identify the alcohol here. There’s both peppermint and citrus in the tail here, making it quite interesting. Grows on you after a while, but this has probably seen better days as the bottle is quite old. 25.03.2015

[backlog] 10-07-16 / bottle at Bierbörse Mainz. Damn good pilsner. Fruity, well carbonated. Dont feel the high ABV. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 4.25/5

Cloudy yellow with a moderate white head. Citrus, flower hoppy, elderflower, sweet. Taste is quite the same, well balanced light bitter and sweet.

0,33l bottle from Merkur. My 400. rating. The bottle is an eyecatcher. The beer is a creamy, smooth, tasty, bittersweet delicacy. The high ABV is not noticeable. Perfectly balanced beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

fantastic. just realized i had the american version 5 years ago. wasn’t quite sure what an "imperial pilsner" would taste like, but this one rocked. big fruity aroma, notes of berries. nice hoppy backing and sweet finish. damn good.
