COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crea assuefazione!

Draught at Keyaki. Quite malt-forward and heavy which is surprising considering the ibu, subdued citrusy hops, decenlty dry finish. Never really been mpressed by their bres and probably won’t bother going forward given they are now an overpriced macro treat.

330mL bottle. 05/2017 Hazy honey gold body, holds a dense white head. Reasonably intense aroma - floral citrus hop, cut grass, pine, touch of tropical/pineapple sort of character, toasty malt in support. Good full body, kinda chewy & creamy, moderate carbonation. Punchy palate - lots of dark citrus, piney hops, lots of caramel & toasty malt, good hit of bitterness. Yeah, this is pretty good.

Bei der Berlin Beer Academy. Bernsteinfarben, trüb, wenig Schaum. Geruch fruchtig, Maracuja, Hopfen.

- Bref: takes a sparkly elegant Italian balanced approach toward US hop engineering a dry, malty UK IPA. - Lovely natural hazy orange pour with dense thick offwhite foam so thick and organically embossed it could be a hand-whipped cappuccino crema in which a cantuccino has been pre-sunk. - Sweet tangerine meets all kinds of flowery and fruity (supratutto pesca) blossoms in aroma, announcing the resinous bitterness of wet fruit peel and some pine - a mild whiff of alcohol underneath that. Excellent balance of fluffy malt biscuit, waffle batter like, and a gorgeous layering of US/UK hops, catering to mango-sweet, treebark pine herbal and tangerine peel zesty, leaving on a distinct herbal (lime leaf, rose petal, plant stalk) bitterness. - Very original in its balancing and compiling of UK, US IPA tradition with Italian sprezzatura. At that extremely moreish, making a decorative vase out of this stylish bottle sooner than expected. / Rerate from grande bottiglia @ArtJamming Freiburg 2016/6, grazie Břrn. Holds up as a superbly balanced European IPA informed by US dryhop engineering. Love the herbal, flower petal subtleties to the bitterness and amico mio do they hold up. Shame about the ABInbev...but at this level, get this beer a EU-wide distribution.
