Crea assuefazione!

McWorta (825) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 20, 2015
Clear golden colour at first but becomes opalescent with a smooth pillowy white head and good lacings. Aromas of pine, tropical fruits like passion fruit are dominant but also some notes of caramel, hay and hints of resin are noticeable. Lightly effervescent with a light soft texture and a medium body. Some fruity caramel sweetness hits the palate at first which then builds into a well balanced fruity pine induced bitterness. Medium lasting finish. Harmonic and pretty quaffable.

Bottle. Golden color, white head. Aroma of hop, mandarine and passion fruit. Tastes fresh and bitter, with citrus, mandarine and bitter grassy hops. Bit flat unfortunately. High on the carbs. Decent beer.

TET (1938) - FINLAND - MAR 12, 2015
A hazy, slightly orange beer with a dense, medium and blond head. Aroma is strongly citrusfruity and also tropical. Grapefruits, mangos, some papaiyas and sweetness of fruit candies, also generic fruitness. Taste has fruits and mangos, medium bitterness is slightly piney and also slightly herbal in the end. Medium bodied, quite smooth carbonation. Tasteful, aromatic and easy IPA. Good beer.

Thanks to Marin & Hrvoje for sharing this one at O’Hara! Poured a murky golden body with a thick white head. Really citric aroma, marmalade, slightly fishy, sweet, tangy, pungent. Tangerines. Birra del Borgo seems to be consistently very, very good in that aroma. Somewhat thinner, dry, just a tad tangy hoppy taste, lemon candy, light malty sweetness. Some tropical fruit. While not a stunner, this is a damn good IPA. Definitely not an APA, though the lack of immediate flashiness can make me understand why one would change that appellation (though I don’t agree). Good job!

Piwo pozostawia lekko cierpki i cytrusowy posmak.
