Crea assuefazione!

Pours gold/amber with a massive head. Nose shows grapefruit and pine, along with a load of spicy hops. Also a bit of faint malt. Similar flavours, more spicy hops and grapefruit. Not very aggressive though. Underneath is some biscuit-like malt. Mild bitterness. Nice moderate carbonation.

Into a tall glass. Three fingers of head, big and frothy. A hazy, dark straw colored body. Smells like lemon and pine, and a floral note. Which was a nice surprise. A solid malty taste, toned down pine bitterness. Tasty. Silky texture, moderate carbonation with a fizz. This is a good beer. For an American IPA it does not have the characteristic bitterness, or maybe I’m used to higher IBU for IPAs. In any case, it’s still enjoyable.

0,33 l bottle courtesy of Balazs, thanks!
Poured murky untransparent amber with a fine creamy white head. Aroma of pine, malt, some caramel and honey. Medium body, lively carbonation that brings some caramel, malt and honey, grassy-pine hops.

Bottle @BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Glorious, artisenal bottle, classic appearance. Intricate palate, hints of stone fruit, a nose full of fresh mountain air and pine forest. Slightly hazy, firm white foam which persists. Dry, resinous finish. Rare.

13,12,12,13,13,12 - 12,30 - 30/

Panama City Beach, Fl - Chan’s Wine World - 12.7 oz bottle. Hazy medium golden-orange pour with a light off-white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has some peachy accents, a hint of floral notes. Flavor is somewhat earthy with a hint of raw dough, some nectarine fruitiness, a bit of light citrus bitterness. Chewy mouthfeel. Not bad at all.
