Crea assuefazione!

Bottle; cloudy, dark orange, large foamy head; lovely aroma of sweet stewed fruits; sweet, with caramel, marmalade and candy peel alongside alcohol warmth; more of the same on the finish; tastes nothing like any other IPA I’ve ever had, but no matter, as it’s all good, robust, rich and hearty fare.

Bottle from Bir&Fud, Rome. Shared june 2012. Hazy amber body, orange hue, big offwhite head. Hoppy aroma, lots of grapefruit, pine, and cara malt. Taste is pretty hoppy too, peach, pineapple, grapefruit, grass, and caramel. Nice bitterness, and a lasting hoppy aftertaste.

Draft at The Birch. Nice shiny amber orange hue. Earthy and a little citric, but not in the American IPA way. Not sure how to describe it. Boy I’m an awful rater. (#4629, 6/24/2012)

(bottle) Colour is golden to amber, hazy. Big, foamy off-white head. Aroma is piney, citrussy, generally hoppy. Also some cereals and a bit yeasty. Medium bitter taste. Lively carbonation, slightly oily texture. Dry, astringent, less fruity finish. A characterful beer with rough edges. I enjoyed it, but I would not have wanted a second glass right away.

Sampled from 0.75l bottle @ Ølfestival København 2012. A light gusher that pours a near clear golden body and a heavy big kinda boring-big off-white head that’s really lacing. Nice fruity and citrus hoppy aroma with caramel, ripe fruits, peaches and sparkling water. Nice. It’s quite lively carbonated and it has a thin oily texture. Hoppy flavors, with lots of citrus and ripe fruits, apples, some sulfur, candy and it’s leaving a warming alcoholic taste in my mouth. Tasty, but perhaps a bit to raw. 10.05.2012

Bottle at EBBC12. Cloudy amber with a big off-white head, very floral and citrus-hoppy nose, rich and chewy and dry. Hoppy without being acrid. Smooth.
