Crea assuefazione!

Bottle in the hotel in Bologna. Breakfast beer! Pours clear, rich gold with a large, frothy white head. Aroma has some citrus, like orange and tangerines, and some spicy pine. Flavor has a strong but restrained sweetness and a rather earthy bitterness. There are touches of honey, with lots of grass, pine, citrus rind and dirt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Light to medium sweet to finish with a robust, lasting earthy bitterness. Mild sticky pine resins, grass, light caramel, toasty bread. A very nice, well-rounded IPA.

Top Notch and Very Complex ! Pours a slightly cloudy raw sienna with nice bubbles clinching to the glass and a foamy head that was full of malty aromas and whiffs of honey, wheat bread, and fresh hops. the flavors are rich with a good mouthfeel, very round with and dramatic. Im getting a great sweet bready start that cleans up into a bitter finish thats slightly tropical but more bitter raw walnut if that makes any sense. Its pairing perfectly with a slice of homemade bacon, shallot, artichoke and salami pizza. Also I should note I just finished tasting the Mikkeller 1000IBU... so my buds might be confused ;)

This is a great beer. Pours a cloudy light brown with an incredible sticky/fluffy head. The flavor is of slight sweet yeasty/dough alcohol with a nice citrus lift. 9.05-bd, 8.8-joek

(75 cl bottle from Kervan’s; BBD: September 12th, 2013) Pours a hazy amber with frothy, white head. Good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is grassy with floral notes and a hint of citrus. Oily texture, lively carbonation, medium body with a slightly bitter finish. Refreshing as the taste has a subtle malty sweetness in the beginning turning into a mild bitterness that doesn’t grow agressive towards the end. Not a fruit bowl either. Perhaps a bit simple in its expression but well composed. Girlfriend says: "It’s easy to drink and it looks nice."

Bottle from Johnny’s Off License. Nice hoppy nose, American hops, cascade. Medium caramel, slight spicy with plums and pears. Nice nose. Flavor is caramel, grass, tobacco, rich malt with nice balance. Full flavored with great drinkability. Strong bitter finish. Nice stuff.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Deep amber body. Moderate sized off-white. Spotty lacing. Large citric and piney hop presence. A bit resinous with a nice, hearty malt base (primarily caramel). Medium bodied. Mildly bitter. A tad sweet with the sizable malt presence. Certainly better than I’d expect from an Italian IPA! [TAP@Alla Spina]

Mild IPA; medium body and hop character. Warm light hop aroma. Murkey brownish orange color (perhaps its the cask?) with soft white head. Notes: On cask at Eataly Birreria

20/06/2011 750ml bottle.

Poured into the glass it had a light amber color with a large head. It has a mild herbal aroma with some citrus. Taste is a little bitter but has some floral notes with straw. I was surprised by the short finish.
