Crea assuefazione!

Shared a 330ml bottle at The BrewDog Bar in Manchester. Chalk white head leaving rings of lace down the glass. Cloudy golden body. Fresh aroma of floral and lemony hops. Spiced citrus flavour on a backbone of herbal hops. Fresh and lingering bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Perfect thirst quencher (25.01.2013).

Pinapple hops, sweet and mild bitter. Soft carbonization. Somewhat forest notes with moss :)

Feels old.. hops mostly gone, light sourish caramel, bit herbal, bit pine. Not disaster, but quite boring

Draught at Keyaki. Quite malt-forward and heavy which is surprising considering the ibu, subdued citrusy hops, decenlty dry finish. Never really been mpressed by their bres and probably won’t bother going forward given they are now an overpriced macro treat.

330mL bottle. 05/2017 Hazy honey gold body, holds a dense white head. Reasonably intense aroma - floral citrus hop, cut grass, pine, touch of tropical/pineapple sort of character, toasty malt in support. Good full body, kinda chewy & creamy, moderate carbonation. Punchy palate - lots of dark citrus, piney hops, lots of caramel & toasty malt, good hit of bitterness. Yeah, this is pretty good.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

Bei der Berlin Beer Academy. Bernsteinfarben, trüb, wenig Schaum. Geruch fruchtig, Maracuja, Hopfen.

Pours a clear amber color. Aromas of hops, hops, and more hops. Maybe a hint of malt. Flavor is all hops, light body with a long dry finish and aftertaste.
