Svesse (1499), Hässelby, Sweden May 8, 2008 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 6 May 2008) Dark amber colour with foamy, beige head. Fruity, hoppy, floral nose with orange peel and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, black-currant, pine needles and generous amounts of citrussy, floral hops in the finish. Medium body, leaning in the thin direction. Great hop character. Lovely beer.

Strong aroma of lychee and grapefruit. Medium sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Pours out in a clear amber colour with a small white foam. Very fruity, dryish and hop aromatic nose of blood-oranges, resin, lychee and leaves. Medium-bodied with fruity and hoppy notes of leaves, flowers, lychee, soap and tangerine. Low carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Medium-bitter finish of lychee, grass and leaves.
