COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brand-new beer from a brand-new, very promising head-brewer. India Pale Ale following the American Pale Ale style with a fruity aroma (grapefruit), with peppery notes (East Kent Goldings), a rich taste of malts (Maris Otter and Crystal), with a very long bitter and citrus finish typical of Cascade hops.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks troubles. Hazy orange. Aroma of fruity hops and a bit of malt. Sweetish flavor with a bit of slightly honey-ish malt, continues bitter and hoppy with some citric notes. Medium-bodied. Alright.

Very delicate in flavor and aroma. Citrus, light grapefruit, sweet toasted caramel malt. Mildly earthy, too. Medium body with carbonation that fools you, at first, into thinking htere is a crisp hop finish. There isn’t. T’was OK.

Bottle 33 cl @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese - Caserta, Italy). Orange bright color, white foam and good lacing. When uncapped, it release a VERY disturbing and horrible acetic. I don’t know how bad had the yeasts evolved in a so little time like three months or similar, despite the best-before set on 06-2012. Anyway. After pouring, beer seems totally normalized in glass; fresh citric and fruity aroma, some bread, caramel, honey. I recognize the spiced characterization due to East Kent. I remember the first time when I had this one, and it’s not so different after two years. Flavor is that of a mildly carbonated APA, good malt contribution, orange and grapefruit. Pleasant harsh finish. What could I say? Respectable, leaving out the imperfection above-mentioned, but risk to being boring.
