A brand-new beer from a brand-new, very promising head-brewer. India Pale Ale following the American Pale Ale style with a fruity aroma (grapefruit), with peppery notes (East Kent Goldings), a rich taste of malts (Maris Otter and Crystal), with a very long bitter and citrus finish typical of Cascade hops.

330 ml bottle. Dark sunrise orange, quite clear, with a decent, creamy and persistent almost light beige head. Pungent and intense nose, slightly nutty, a hint of caramel malts, but plenty of tropical, dank and citrusy hops. Small astringency upfront, perfectly dry and quite bitter. Too malty perhaps, but you can never tell how a fresh is a Birra del Borgo beer, unfortunately. Fruity, resiny and piney aftertaste. The alchool is there, not 100% well masked. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Good overall.

Bottle @ P1 House, Phitsanulok. Nicely hazy deep orange colour, off-white creamy head. Tropical fruity nose and taste, indeed a bit peppery, nicely sweet and creamy malts, good bitter bite. All tones linger nicely in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel, medium-low carbonation, good body.

From Craftissimo, cup in Peninsula Mall. Inviting hazy amber with off-white creamy head. Smells relatively faint - quite malty, some alcohol and yeast. Taste is slightly spicy, malt, bitter finish. Body is incredibly smooth, starts almost creamy but finishes with fine carbonation. Very balanced, fine, precise. Great palate.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2014 Bottle from Craftissimo in the mall. Hazy/opaque amber pour with thin yellowy fine head. Aroma is mild fresh hops and malt. Taste is sweet and malty but with pronounced crisp bitter hops. Bitter dry hoppy finish. Smooth bubbly palate. Really nice and balanced - would be good with a lot of food. Almost like a less malty, more hoppy Rogue Dead Guy.
