COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brand-new beer from a brand-new, very promising head-brewer. India Pale Ale following the American Pale Ale style with a fruity aroma (grapefruit), with peppery notes (East Kent Goldings), a rich taste of malts (Maris Otter and Crystal), with a very long bitter and citrus finish typical of Cascade hops.

Nice blend of variations to the pale ale style. American hop signature in the aroma and flavor combined with an European affection for the bready caramel malts. Overall a very well balanced interpretation.

Amber color, small silky head. Aroma has citrus, grape and a bit roastiness. Taste has hops , citrus, some sweetness and caramel also in the aftertaste. Balanced beer with some nice wipes.

33cl bottle from Vinmopolet, Briskeby. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy and caramelly aroma with fruits, mild spicy notes and malt. Sweet, malty and hoppy, but not so fresh anymore - getting close to the expiration date, but still quite nice. A bit on the sweet side, but fairly balanced. Prefer the ReAle Extra, but this is also quite drinkable.

(Bottle) Clear golden brown with good dense off-white head. Fantastic aroma of grapefruit with hints of stone-fruit and spice. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste is definitely APA, but with quite a lot more fruitiness and sweetness up front. Stone-fruit and quite sweet toffee malt at the start develops tangy and spicy notes which progress to an assertive but not overwhelming bitter finish. A good take on an APA.

Spina @ irish pub. Ambrata con schiuma fine non troppo persistente. Apa un po' stucchevole. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

Troebele oranje rode kleur met een volle crème kraag. Ruikt fruitig, caramel, hop en kruiden. Smaakt bitterzoet, fruitig, honing. Bittere afdronk.

330 ml bottle bought at Craftissmo in Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Preparation: fridged bottle; Rested in room temperature for 5 minutes. Popped at 14°C (within recommended temperature range) onto the Chimay chalice.

Looks: Cloudy hazy dark amber with no yeast sediments; One quarter finger head and white foam which fades in 30 seconds. Very good sticky lacing with slight carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant sweet ale malt, with fresh grapefruit, floral, molasses, light pine, light pepper, lemon and thin grass.

Taste: Medium sweet and refreshing ale malt, with grapefruit flesh and zest, apricot, yellow fruits, light honey, strong molasses, light pepper, strong pine, yeast, strong lime and strong bitter grassy hops.

Body: Medium, thick, oily and slightly oozy palate.

Mouth Feel: good strong Ale maltyness in a rich thick body. Grapefruit is rather moderate but pleasant. The best part is the sweetness - nice and tasty molasses and light honey, moderate but impressive to the taste buds - really give this brew a good lift. Also some good pine, light pepper and yeast. Lively and nice!

Hoppiness: Quite fresh grapefruits, floral, light pine and peppery nose and taste. Bitterness is notable, a bit low for the style but just right for me. All ends with a lasting, bitter sweet finish.

After Taste: Slightly dry. Rich and savory to mouth.

Comments: This is a well-made Pale Ale - refreshing with impressive, just-right sweetness, piney and well-intended light citrus. With things being done with a delicate touch, it feels like an IPA more than an APA. Still, very good for chilling out!

Bottle. Amber with a slight, off-white head and touch of carbonation. Hedgerow hops, marmalade sweetness, biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish with a touch of warming alcohol. Good.
