Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 11, 2005 Updated: Feb 15, 2006[Re-rate in Copenhagen from bottle, brought by the brewer] An undlear orange beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of yeast, but also light notes of oranges, while the flavor is sweet with lots of citrusfruit notes: oranges, lemon, and grapefruit, but also notes of caramel. The body is thin. As I expected in London, something must have been wrong over there - it is still nothing special - but it is far from bad.
[At GBBF 2005] An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aroma stings the nose with acidic notes combined with notes of yeast. The flavor is off - acidic with a few fruity notes of peaches. I hope it is the transportation to London that put this beer off. [3/3/2/3/4] omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 3, 2006 [Bottled at Københavnske Øldage] Cloudy pale orange, creamy head. Aroma of grapefruit and melon. Sweet and fruity with near full body, but somewhat mellow mouthfeel. There’s notes of licorice, before it’s finished of by salty bitterness.
