ante (2449), Stockholm (Bromma), Sweden May 16, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a rich and sticky off-white foam. Fruity aroma of flowers, mild pine and tangerine with touches of neutral yeast. Medium-bodied with touches of pine-cones, peaches, grass, guava and bakers yeast. Smooth, almost flat mouthfeel. Medium-bitter and fruity finish of peaches, resin, grass and starfruit. Tasty and rather refreshing but as most Borgo beers, it’s lacks some depth.

Flavor had a dry hopy mouth feeling,medium body, medium fruity finish. Nice and surpricly weel done beer! Stew41 (839), Caulfield, Australia May 31, 2008 Super combination and balance of the key ingrediants - malts and hops. Relatively thick palate weight and seemingly a US model with both malt and hop overload....but the beer settles nicely. Lots of hop kick right through the palate together with a nice resin-like sweetness. Malts also drive a fair whack of sweetness but it never gets overblown. Would have picked this as a polished US IPA. Like all Italian micros amazingly well packaged. I agree - a very underated beer at 39%. Quevillon (1238), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada May 29, 2008 Bière #18 au Mondial 08 (29/5/08), bouteille. Rousse brumeuse, moyen collet. Arome de malte épicé, avec une touche d’houblon amère, un peu végétal. Goût d’houblon épicé, bonne amerturme avec une arrière-goût de céréal croustillant. Pour un si pas score, c’est pas si mauvaise que ça!
