From tap at bir and fud. Pours dark brown to black with almost no head. Dry malty, roasted and slight earthy. Solid roasted, slight chocolate note in the intial flavour. Liqourice slowly appearing afterwards, goes into a light acidity before the finish. Dry malty and liqourice finish.

Bottled@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is licorice, some smoke as well as some dark berries. Flavour is roasted malts, licorice and quite tasty. Some mild vanilla and also tobaccoish (though this isn’t the tobacco version). Wellbalanced and nice porter. Licorice and smoke in the aftertaste.

Draught at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà, Rome. Slightly hoppy aroma. Black colour, small head. The flavour is also hoppy, with a little yeast and cardboard, but still good. Liquorice mouthfeel. 7 3 6 3 14
