Bottle from Domus Birrae, Rome. Reddish gold, fluffy head. Oranges, grapefruit, packed full of herbal and grassy hops. Spearmint, roesemary and pine. Peaches, apricots, blood oranges opening up for the hoppy bitterness. White pepper. Complex, yet well crafted and incredibly balanced.

courtesy of fiulijn - cloudy reddish-brown colour, firm and persistent beige foam; nice lace; very flowery hoppiness with notes of cream and litchies, a touch of banana too; a fresh palate, a fair but not aggressive bitterness; very long flowery hoppy finish - a beautiful one

75cl Bottle from bir&fud beershop. Every year Birra del Borgo change his recept for this fantastic IPA, starting from the basic ReAle. This 5 anniversay with nelson sauvin it’s an orange, hazy, ipa with a good white foam. Aroma: floral, resin, citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit a complete bouquet!!! A good bitterness on mouth balanced with medium body, and soft carbonation. A long bitter finish for this great anniversary reale.

Bottled (0,75 l): Intensive hoopy nose, big notes of resiny hops, aroma hops, citrus. Pale amber color, creamy off white head with good lacing. Light sweet, malty base with a very hoppy taste. Notes of resin, citrus, grapefruits and fir needles. Very well balanced, not too bitter finish. Great.

June 5th 2010. On tap at Open Baladin. Clear amber beer, little white head. Fresh crisp palate, semi dry. Beautiful Nelson Sauvin hops. Fresh and aromatic. Some piney blackcurrant and other summer fruits and of course some passion fruit. Finishes minerally and crisp. Lovely!

Hazy copper-amber color; generous creamy head. Very nice hoppy aroma, quite citrusy. Creamy toffee flavor (is it already too old???), with a strong bitterness, fruity, bitter oranges, a bit resiny, lightly buttery. Pleasant brew, but tiring.

2010-06-05, RBESG 2010, draught at Open Baladin, 7-4-7-5-15=38
Hazy amber color. Nice malt aroma, with a delicate hopping that reminds me more about Simcoe. Dryish caramel flavor, with good fruity and resiny hopping, some passion fruit and bitter oranges too. Correct bitterness. Good beer, solid.
