COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Buon compleanno BdB!

750 ml bottle from birraland, served into a pint glass. Wonderful deep sunrise orange colour - perfectly clear when carefully poured, quite hazy finishing the bottle - with an egg shell coloured head. Perfect lacing retention on the glass. Very unique aroma of herbal hops, caramel malts and quite distinctive earthy notes, probably from the gentian roots, and various spices like cinnamon and ginger. Moderately bitter in the mouth, very smooth and extremely drinkable. Medium body. Felt over carbonated during the first sip, but after a few minutes in the glass changed quite a bit. Overall this is a different and very interesting APA, I had no problems drinking a 750ml bottle alone, and I wouldn’t mind another one! Very impressed.

Pours dark amber with a large head. Nose shows fruity, floral hops, soft sorachi notes, coconut and apricot marmalade. Hoppy flavours, much less complex. Some fruit and resinous pine followed by sweet clean malt. A bit of the apricot and coconut notes show through. Too highly carbed, other than that very nice stuff.
