3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From Belmont Station in Portland, OR...Poured a light mustard orange murky hue with a soft whitish bubbly thin head. Nose of mildly dull citrus notes and a watery fruits. Low carbonation levels no pop when uncapping and thin on the tongue. Finished a little disappointingly drab. Somehow it remained on the back of the tongue a quasi cloying manner. Eh.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not bad, not bad. Poured with a small, cream colored head that quickly faded and no lace. Color is a very slightly hazy amber with some particulates. Aroma is malt, hop, tea, yeast. Flavor is like aroma plus some surprising tartness up front. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and tartness fades to sweet before a bit of tart bittersweetmess at the very end. Long finish. Nice drinking beer. Could have some more of this.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This tea based beer is a first for me. Light lemon /orange in colour; not disimilar to a German wheat beer. Soft of nose of mild sweet malts but not much else. Palate shows a little more; slightly honeyed malts giving way to a clear cold tea flavour with mild bitterness. The weiss flavours also hang around. Quite bland on one hand but points for being different. (EuR 8 from Bier & Fud, Rome).

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Courtesy PhillyBeer2112. Pours an interesting looking dark yellow color with bits of whitish head. Aroma of green olive/caper brine, which I didn’t dig at all. Got less appealing as I drank on. Light carbonation, moderately thick body for the ABV. Mild taste - slightly sweet, a tad funky, a bit of citrus. The finish yields some hints of what is in the aroma - a little saltiness and vinegar. An odd and not entirely pleasant brew.

Bottle. Zero taste. Expensive. Not worth the price. Tastyes like flat budweiser infused with leaves. Cool bottle though

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
2008 Bottle - Pours an opaque tan, little head, bitter aroma with slight tea, taste is utterly bland, slightly sours and with the slightest nuance of tea flavour. When I went back for the bottom third, all the yeast mud went into my glass, which was okay because apparently that is where the flavour hides. Even so, after paying $8, I felt like I was bent over....

Bottle shared with Phillybeer at Redlight, thanx guys.Pours a cloudy yellow color with a nice thin lacing that stuck around for the whole ride. The nose is of citrus, olives and some funk.Flavor was thin, citrus, herbs and olives with a slight hint of artichoke.Definately worth revisiting. The finish was light and refreshing.I would say this is one of the more stranger beers I have had.Solid.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very unpronounced with a slight tea flavor that sparks a one dimensional bitter note heavily layered under some malt, water, citrus, and wheat. The finish isn’t bad with some nice carbonation and dryness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ redlight redlight. Pours a hazy gold with a nice white head, leaves a little lacing on the glass. Light grassy, slight citrus and lemony aroma, with a some earthy hops. In flavor, a soft lemon and mild earthy must sit a top toasted malts and a light spice. Tea comes through most in the subtle tannic dry finish. Lush carbonation. Overall, decent saison, restrained and subtle.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours light gold, small head. Subtle head, citrus, a bit of funk. Light, delicate, very reserved. Some citrus zest, coriander, but cloaked in earthy, organic herbalness. Definite earthy green tea on the back end. Refreshing. Green tea is hinted at rather than a primary flavor note.
