3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy deep amber body, medium white head. Strong vinous and caramel aroma, warm with alcoholic notes, in a pleasant kind of way. Moderately sweet followed by a yeasty, earthly finish. Aftertaste is rather weak and vaguely bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, a little on the sweetish side, nothing to rave about. Didn’t taste too fresh, maybe I have kept it for too long on my shelf (well before its "best before" date anyway).

Amber bodied and small yet lasting beige lace. Caramel malty base, candy and with good hop backup. Medium bitterness, but moderate taste altogether. Bit of toasty caramel, nothing special. Okay brew. (33cl bottle from Eataly Torino)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium amber, small white head. Smells..malty bread styles, honey, maybe..some banana a little hops, but mostly malts. Tastes..strong on the American pale malts a real honey like flavour, , a touch fruity in a banana sense, maybe some apricot, pretty easy drinking..some bite from the alcohol though at only 6%

33 cl bottle. Dark amber with glowing red shines, slightly hazed, small but creamy head. Nose oh ginger. Aroma of citrus, ginger, nicely hopped while malts are not sparkling. Taste has a vague sweetish thing then is moderately bitter, and the finish is nice, tasty. Body is light to medium, soft carbonation. Simple but nice APA.

I was a little disappointed by pouring foam produced, the taste was quite structured and round with strong feelings of hops. Overall very nice and well structured. A beautiful red amgrato lens.
