Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, sparkling, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is of the herbal kind, thyme is the first thing that springs to mind, then some rosemary and dandelion chimes in. Not very focused on hoppyness, and also the malts are left in the background. Not sure what I think of it. If I look away from the IPA moniker it’s nice, as an IPA it’s not spot on in any way. The same goes for the flavor. It’s lacking on all things hoppy, bitterness included. It’s dry enough for me, and full-bodied enough, but with a slightly hard carbonation. Lasting herbal finish. Well, I guess this one is supposed to be paired with some food, at least on its own it fails to raise my interest when the initial curiosity is gone. 110319
