Red-dark amber color; creamy head. It’s the classic Amber Ale, some dry flavor of chocolate; correct bitterness, correctly brewed.

Pours brownish amber with a small head. Nose is slightly piney with a good amount of caramel from the malt. Taste is sweet with a small amount of bitter. Something funky in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is oily and aftertaste is long.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild butterish and caramelish. Sweet malty, light toasted and mild fruity. Bitterness coming through. Dry roasted malty and slight buttercaramelish into a bitter finish.

Bottle from Domus Birrae, Rome. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is light bready malts. Taste is light dry and bitter, with a peppery finish. OK beer.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and spices. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, spices and mild hops. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, straw, and sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel.

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Lagerish aroma, a little yeast and nuts. Medium body, some roasted malt, again nuts and yeast with a dry and fairly hoppy finish. 030610

Clear medium red amber color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dusty, nutty, light caramel and roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100603]

3rd June 2010 - Brasserie 4:20 - Bottle - thanks to Alex! Clear dark amber beer. Frothy off-white head. Light soft dry palate. Dry malt, soft with a little herbal bitterness. Finishes soft and dry. A little weird but drinkable.
