Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, honey, wine, wood - oak, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet fruit, nectar, wood, dry, alcohol notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20121216]

Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Manuelle for gifting me this one.
Hazed pale golden amber with a thin white head that clears to the edge.
Nose is soured apples, sugar, hint of booze, light yeast, pears.
Taste comprises sweet sugars, apple, spice, fruits.
Full bodied with fine carbonation, dry boozey finish.
Decent enough.

Tasting at ChrisOs. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate, slightly dry. Sweet peach syrup, lesser apricot. Light touch of white pepper. Light dry finish. Sweet! No detectable sherry!

Hazy copper color with small sized head. The aroma is mild, with fermentation fruits, some sugar, light vinous sourness. Full bodied, round mouthfeel; sweet flavor of malt and light caramel, some fruitiness, rotten fruits, raisin juice, maybe light honey, but no trace of Pedro Ximenéz; the fermentation produced also some trace of vegetables.
Sweet beer, unimpressive.

Golden color with white head. Intense malt aroma, also yeast, spicy and wood. Taste is light sweet with little wood flavour.

Pours golden orange with a small white head. Nose is banana, ginger, boozey, pears and grapes. Taste is very sweet with very little bitter to balance but comes through on the end. The mouthfeel is creamy, soft but fizzy momentarily. The body is medium and finish is long with some alcohol burn.
