Birra spumante.

- Aperitivi e finger food
- Dolci al cucchiaio
- Formaggi maturi

Definitely not a barley wine. Mix between a vin de dessert and a home-brew, but more on the wine side. Soft carbonation. Golden hazy.

Slightly hazy pale golden, minimal cream head. Alcohol, a mixture of prosecco and mature apple, sweetish with a hoppy note. Quite hollow taste, light malts, yeast, a hint of passito wine and wine-like sparkling. Strange and left somewhere in the middle of something.

Bottled. Very drinkable. No carbonation. Reminiscence of white wine and home brew. Wort? Apricot. Interesting.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Deep blond color, clear, with small head. Beery aroma, with light esters from the yeast, not necessarily fruity. Some beer character, some cheap white wine, boozy, medium sweetness, with moderate bitterness, drier final, with a vegetable impression.
A bit chaotic, not very pleasant.

from Drinks of the World - cloudy amber-orange beer with no foam left; aroma of oranges, spices and caramel; a solid sweetness and a good malt backbone, long aftertaste of oranges, caramel and with some residual sugars - too sweet to be really enjoyable
