1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 omhper (17472) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2010
Bottled in Vlorë, Albania. Clear pale golden, airy head. Vague fruity nose, then nothing! Mid sweet and thin bodied, watery and empty with the vaguest hint of boiled vegetables. No bitterness. Redundant.

Medium gold with lots of carbonation. The aroma is mossy hops and medium butterness. Taste is pale malt, lots of butter, and a hint of vague hop. I avoided this one the rest of the way through Albania.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Koelschtrinker (8480) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - SEP 2, 2011
Milder, etwas blechern herber Antrunk. Quasi nichts ist aromatisch. Weiter etwas herb, blechern bitterer Abgang. Selten ein Bier mit so wenig Aromen getrunken. /5/8/4/8/4
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 22, 2011
Can from Koelschtrinker - vielen Dank! Clear pale golden colour, really large and creamy white head. Shy grainy aroma. Light-bodied, shy malt flavours, grainy, hints of corn, shy hoppy finish. Smooth palate. Rather mild and light, but quite pleasant in general.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Skinnyviking (5956) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2010
Can. Low white fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Slightly hazy amber body. Dry malty flavor with a sharp metallic bitterness. Watery. High carbonation. Long aftertaste.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Draft in Albania. Lively with lots of rising bubbles stable head. Unfortunately aroma is filled with diacetyl. The palate is teeming with butter and tainted by diacetyl. Underneath is maybe some toasted malt but is too buttery to let anything good emerge.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 Marko (3612) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 1, 2008
Can courtesy of and shared with heavy who found it in Albania (thanks!) Poured a pale golden body with some odd particle inside (what the...), medium sized thick white head. Sharp dusty nose... guess some hop is in there. Taste? Watery.... watery is an understatement. No. Saying that it being watery is an understatement is an understatement by itself. Water someone managed to taint with something. It’s not tainted all that badly though... it’s sweet, soapy (ok, that’s four of us that agree), some dust, some corn... later on a lemony acidity becomes somewhat dominant and that’s it. It’s not the foulest beer you’ll try but it’s possibly the most baffling. The particles that I really hope were proteins or something stuck on the bottom of the glass. Wow. Just wow. To top everything off, the can is an obvious Tuborg Green knockoff and it says "Pleasure is inside." Oooh yeah. Pleasure. Must be those particles.

Can - 500ml. Golden body with a good white frothy head. Bland, thin malty/hoppy aroma with grainy hints. Taste carries bready and herbal notes. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish.

So...what I’ve chose for rating #500 was exactly this. I was bored of good Belgian ales for round ratings, so chosen a beer which might easily become the worst European pale lager :) let’s see that 0.5 l can I found in a store in Tirane, Albania. Poured pale yellow body with medium-bigger head over it and with some particles floating inside, probably being barley husks! Damn! Some lemony hops aroma with some dust. Flavor is watery, crappy, soapy, weak, etc. Although it was pretty plain, that soapiness mixes with some slight bitterness making some unpleasant combination. Very bad indeed, I could hardly finish it! Fascinating enough for such a round rating number!
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 visionthing (1637) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2012
50cl from tap in Sarandë, Albania. Golden with decent white head. Tempting appearance and weak aroma of malt. Not much flavor in this one, but it tasted very fresh. Lightly sweet without much bitterness. Didn’t try it from cans or bottles but from tap it was very refreshing. Nice and very easy to drink lager for hot summer days. It was in fact the only beer we tried from tap in Albania. Surprisingly refreshing and no unpleasant aromas. Had it several times from tap during our stay in Sarandë. More refreshing than more flavourful beers from bottles. Quite nice for an Albanian lager. Nice surprice. (Sarandë, Albania - 2011-05-23)
