330ml bottle at Lygon Food Store, Carlton, Melbourne. This is a Sicilian pale lager that is less sweet and a slightly more hoppy than a Peroni which is about the only good thing to say about it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl. flaske. 4,7 %. Bragt hjem fra ferie til Sicilien. Lys kornfarvet øl, læskende og perfekt til en sommerdag

Bottle. Light golden pour with a nice white head. Grass, hop, grain. Light body. Good carbonation. Grassy feel.

Bottle@Roccalumera, Sicily. Golden beer with a strong soon disappearing head. The aroma is dry and yeasty, and the flavour is mildly bitter and dry with gasey yeastiness. Overall a very average pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

La bière des pizzerias à un prix démesuré sous prétexte que c’est brassé en Sicille. C’est une bière, mais sans caractère.

Having just returned from an epic vacation to Sicily, I now have a backlog of Sicilian and Italian beer ratings to upload. First up is this apparently Sicilian-in-name-only adjunct lager, a former classic local brew, but since a victim of Heineken's globalization. Still a surprisingly enjoyable beer, nothing sophisticated about it, but it is a fresh and clean industrial pale lager with a light malty taste and some generic hoppiness. Very thin yellow color and light bodied, not a strong flavor but is smooth and drinkable. Featured a long lasting full white head and lively carbonation. Lower ABV and clean finish makes it good for casual sessioning on a leisurely evening.

Woeful stuff Garbage lager that may as well be Australian macro. Initial sulphur stink giving way to some light hop. Thin with some cane sugary cidery notes and stale hop. Lingering hop ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Backlog, bottle when in Sicily 2011. Clear pale golden color, small white foamy head, some lacing; aroma grain, corn, malty, grass; mild sweetbitter taste; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; finish as in taste, bit more hoppy notes.

Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is brewing cereal, corn and hints of grass. Taste is pretty watery. The usual pale ale stuff. zzzzz Wake me up when the flavour arrives.

Drunk from 33cl bottle in Taormina, Italy. Pretty standard plain pilsener beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
