UPDATED: JUN 26, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Again this typical and wonderful Italian hoppy nose. Extremely flowery and fresh - reminds me of my first Steinie. Fully golden, nice head. Pure, malty - and then not so much more. Classical good Lager-type. "Birra di Sicilia" brewed in Milan?? 150403

Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows banana, hay and faint grainy malt. Faint but not bad.
Less interesting flavours; hay, grainy malt, little else. Finishes weakly with a mild bitterness.
Very watery body and high carbonation.

Pretty good approximation of a full pilsner. Straw and toffee nose. Quite grassy. Could do a lot worse for the style.

tried this in honor of an old school friend named "Paul Messina". was pleasantly surprised by the "hops-forward" bouquet.
the initial hit on the palate was full of citrus but the finish was extraordinarily dry - as if the taste was vacuumed out of my mouth.
very refreshing. very "euro" in style to my palate.

0,33 l bottle as a gift.
Poured pale yellow with a small white head. Typical aroma and flavor of an average pale lager, nothing to write about it. Some sweet malt, sourish yeast, minimal hop. Dull.

Bottle.Tried at Jamies Italian in Birmingham. Clear very low carbonation and a pleasant presence of malt. i was surprised that it was produced by a hated multi national. Not a bad drink and Jamies is also recommended.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 yngwie (9177) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 2, 2010
Bottle. A clear, slightly pale, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Resiny, grassy aroma with some pale malts. Quite fizzy, medium to thin body, quite tasteless. Some herbal bitterness in the end, pale malts and some resiny, grassy hops. This is a beer I really don’t understand why anyone would import to Denmark. 101002
