Light blond color; nice perlage. Interesting fresh aroma. Unfortunately the flavor is too light, with a watery dry finish.

Bottle. Standard lager medium golden appearance with a decent white head. Sweet grainy/corny aroma with a nice Euro-hop twang. Cereal grain and corn syrup flavor with grassy hop notes in the finish. Whether it was the hot P.E.I beach sun, or just my happy on-vacation mood, I’m not sure, but I actually enjoyed this.

Part of an 8-pack of "International Beer Selections". The whole 8-pack was a bit of a dud, and this was just one of the average, watery pale lager style beers. The label is better than Birra Moretti though!

Bottled(660ml). -from Pam supermarket across main railway station in Trieste, Italy.
Typical Italian beer. Clear yellow coloured, huge quick-disappearing white head, corn nose. Faint malty and cereals aroma. Watery with harsh bitter finish.

0,66 l bottle from a Bologna supermarket. The girl on the label is probably the best about this. Italian discount beer at its usual low, thin, watery and some cardboard, though there is a hint of grain here.

3-pack of "long necks". Light foam on light gold liquid. Unrefined hop aroma. OK for a very hot day. Unfortunately it is snowing. Lightly sweet cookie flavour with a bit of hop bitterness with a lingering quality.

Bottle. Very pale beer with a lightly hopped aroma and a smooth dry and yeasty flavour. Overall a fairly standard Italian lager.

rauchbier (3699) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2008
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Brigg. Gold, big fluffy white head and moderate condition. Pleasant grassy hoppiness and slight sweet grain in the nose, Slight estery sweetness in the mouth with a touch of harsh dryness emerging, short dry finish with a lingering suggestion of esters.

Spab (2940) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2010
330 ml bottle from Premier Wine & Spirits (Halifax). Pours a clear dark yellow with only the tiniest of white caps. Lightly sweet aroma of grass, grains and adjunct. Taste is actually a little better than might be expected - there’s an interesting mix of honey/light citrus sweetness and grassy bitterness. Finishes reasonably crisply. Fairly lively carbonation. Poor but not totally terrible.

Gethinbeer (2400) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 1, 2010
Slight citrus aroma mixed with honey. Lively carbonation. Big frothy white head. Thin texture. hint of honey in the flavour. Chemical hints. Piss poor beer.

Golden, fizz, with large fine white head. Sharp bitterness is refreshing with a distinct pils edge. It’s never going to blow your mind with complexity but as a first beer to wet the lips it goes down quite well.
