2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
<2months after bbf>
Has a lot more going for it than the regular Moretti. Exploding head and a relativly powerfull aroma of almonds and malts. Flavor is nice and clean, with a decent amound of hob bitterness. Has a touch of american pine hobs. Very nice for the style.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled at ultimate glasgow tasting. A pritty poor show. Aroma is sweet cornish malts, lightly skunky. Taste is again very cornish, corn syrup and not well balanced. The carbonation us good though.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting: Poured a golden color with white head. The aroma was quite skunky and had a fish aroma to it. The taste is grainy and malt.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
tap - Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head. It smells mainly of pale malt. The flavor is sweet, light malts and some mild hops. It’s watery and bland, a disappointing brew.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at Malpensa airport.
Full malty taste, rather sweet. While way above the watery cardboard of the cheapest Italian beers, it is not much, really. A little bitterness in the finish, but no gold here, I’m afraid.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from some restaurant in Venice, Italy: poure deep golden yellow with a fairly small white head. Moderate hop and grain aroma. Flavor actually surprised me. Had some grassy notes with a little bit of citrus. Very refreshing and crisp. Not worth the 6 Euro per bottle but...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled 0,66L.
Yellow golden color golden with an optimal and fine bubbly. Creamy and abundant head of medium resistance. Fresh aroma of cereals, grass and grains, light note of malty too. Fresh taste even if abundantly washed out and little aromatic. Bitterish final with light alcohol presence.
In the standard of the brewer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From my notes 6/10/07 pours a two-finger white head that vanishes to a ring, leaving no lace. Clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is balanced with a slight bitter finish. €11 ($15.07) for a 330ml bottle from the Gran Caffè Chioggia Venice, Italy. Yes it is expensive, that’s 30 bucks for two beers, this is the big restaurant right on the corner in St. Mark’s square in Venice - avoid. Vendors along the canal have cold beers for €3.

Bottle. Clear yellow colour with mostly lasting white head. The rather powerfull aroma has hops and hay. Slightly sweet malt in the flavor. Average finish.
