COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Born from the Italian beer brewing tradition, BAFFO D’ORO is a premium, pure malt beer. It is produced using only selected varieties of malted barley and contains no other cereals. The result is a beer with an alcoholic content of 4.8% volume and is characterized by its lively golden colour, to which it owes its name. BAFFO D’ORO with its deep malted flavour fits perfectly with a variety of Italian meals, from pasta to roast meat to pizza.

An orange beer with a huge though disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty and hoppy. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and hops leading to a quite dry bitter end.

Mr. Moretti, I would like you to meet Mr. Peroni...I think you will find that you two have a lot in common...malty with a bitter finish...maybe they shoulda called it a Heinekeno (that is me trying to talk with a corny Italian accent)

Bottled, drank in Bellagio, Italy.
Golden with a nicely capped bubbly white head. Enormously malty aroma and flavour. This straight pure malt beer was twice the price of beers but the extra flavour was worth the extra euro spread. Lovely pure malt lager I thought.

clear bright golden colour, nice foam, moderate aromatic hoppiness, floral, very malty with a slightly dry and somehow unpleasant finish

Blond color. Light malt character, but overall a very common lager.

Watery thin and grassy. Clear and amber in color with a small head that faded quickly. Flavor was minimual and unremarkable, Not a very appealing beer.

Moretti Baffo D'Oro - birra di puro malto, 4.8%. NOT a good beer. Too watery, too boring, and not well balanced. If you try hard, it does have hints of plesant malty sweetness.

A very bad Italian beer. Watery, sweet, ugly, sticky, alcoholic. Very boring.

Golden color ’lite’--weak appearance; slight bubbles but big head. Long bitter finish but really uninteresting. (had on tap in Florence restaurant).
