Born from the Italian beer brewing tradition, BAFFO D’ORO is a premium, pure malt beer. It is produced using only selected varieties of malted barley and contains no other cereals. The result is a beer with an alcoholic content of 4.8% volume and is characterized by its lively golden colour, to which it owes its name. BAFFO D’ORO with its deep malted flavour fits perfectly with a variety of Italian meals, from pasta to roast meat to pizza.

Lys brun klar med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter, papp, malt, korn og noe karamell. Latterlig god på terrassen i 34grader. Lettdrikkelig, lite smak, noe fruktig sødme før en lett kort bitterhet avslutter det hele. Klar for en til

Bottle 660 ml. Similar to normal Moretti but with some additional unpleasant notes in taste, which makes it worse.

Pours clear pale straw with two fingers of fluffy white head, good retention and moderate patchy lacing. (3/5) Nose is sweet pale malt, doughy yeast, faint grassy hops and honey. (4/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (4/10) Light bodied, off dry crisp finish. (3/5) Pleasant thirst quencher on a hot day, and yes, it does pair well with Italian food and pizza. Decent enough example of the style, but ultimately pretty boring. (10/20)

Cagliari 3/8 2014. 50 cl bottle from local supermarket. Pours yellow with small white head. Subdued aroma. Prickly carbonation. Refreshing when thirsty. Not much taste to complicate matters.

Una pale lager commerciale. Assaggiata un po’ di anni fa. Non ha caratteristiche uniche che la definiscono

Clear golden color, minimal white head. Malty aroma and taste, some cheap hops, some sweetness, thin body, average carbonation. Quite drinkable for a pale lager.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear golden color with large frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of bread, grassy hops, a bot of cooked vegetables and mild honey note. Taste starts light sweet malty, following is clean grassy with bready note, dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. I think my rating is so high because of the label, other characteristics are pretty average...
