COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Born from the Italian beer brewing tradition, BAFFO D’ORO is a premium, pure malt beer. It is produced using only selected varieties of malted barley and contains no other cereals. The result is a beer with an alcoholic content of 4.8% volume and is characterized by its lively golden colour, to which it owes its name. BAFFO D’ORO with its deep malted flavour fits perfectly with a variety of Italian meals, from pasta to roast meat to pizza.

Hoppy taste. Bitter palate with some malty nute. Long bitter-sweet finish. White foam, disappearing fast. Very light, yellow-like colour.

08.05.2013. 0,66l Bottle. Pan Panorama, Pisa, Italy. Yellow colour with white head. Malty aroma. Soft beer with medium body. Low bitterness gives a rather tasteless and straight forward beer. Weak bitterness at the end.

the only difference I’ve found with the original one is the price. And for worse.

Equilibrated sweetness and bitterness, malty flavour. Not so flavoured at finish, wich results a bit watered. A floral flavour background is present, appreciated.

good malty taste, that shows its sweetness but well compensated with bitterness. i little bit floral in the beginning but doesn´t make any problem if you are eating. Although its normal i think its a good beer

Head: white creamy and frothy, medium sized. Colour: golden. Aroma: malty sweet, with some hop bitterness and a dirty soapy note too. Taste: matly and a bit of floral hops, but a very watery finish.

Not too fizzy, white head, golden colour...Better than usual Moretti, not bad....it’s ok with a pizza, I thought was worse, instead it’s ok.

Clear, pale yellow body with a small, fizzy, white head, fully diminishing with virtally no lacing. Very light malty aroma with some hoppy notes (flowers). Light bitter flavour. Light body with a watery texture; soft carbonation; moderate metallic feeling in the finish.

66cl bottle. Pours thick foamy white head. Colour is pale gold. Aroma of freshly cut summer grass. Medium carbonation. Taste light sweet and medium bitter with walnut and winey notes. Finish is bitter and short. Taste is reminiscent of some of the Austrian Märzens. A good standard beer for quenching the thirst on a boiling Italian summer afternoon. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Compared with normal Birra Moretti, not too different, but is a good deal sweeter than your usual pale lager. Drank straight from the bottle, unfortunately so I coudnt check out the color or aroma.
