COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Born from the Italian beer brewing tradition, BAFFO D’ORO is a premium, pure malt beer. It is produced using only selected varieties of malted barley and contains no other cereals. The result is a beer with an alcoholic content of 4.8% volume and is characterized by its lively golden colour, to which it owes its name. BAFFO D’ORO with its deep malted flavour fits perfectly with a variety of Italian meals, from pasta to roast meat to pizza.

A great but non-spectacular beer. Appearance was a common gold like. Aroma was fresh and full of barley. Taste was strong but still light alcohol content with a strong but pleasant aftertaste.

66cl bottle, 4.8% brewed at Bergamo plant. Golden colour, mediom head, Aroma is hay, cereal, grass. I sense a remain of yeast, similarily to a dortmunder\zwickl. Very malty. Dry , medium bitterness, a pinch of salt. Light body, bitter finish. OK but nothing special considering it’s industrial beer.

Purchased a bottle in Sestriere, Italy. Colour: Nothing riveting here...light gold and medium-low head. Nose: A touch of floral but dominant with malt and hay. Taste: Malt and summer grass, dusty and slightly herbal with a touch of salt. Average but decent run-of-the-line Italian birra.

My first beer on my italian experience tour. Not so bad, but a little but too malty, thus unbalanced. Strange for me the 0.66l presentation. Too much.

Alla spina. Clear golden with little head. A rather odd aroma - slightly sour, slightly candy / bubblegum. Light and fizzy. Slightly sickly candy / bubblegum foretaste with an unpleasant harsh bitter finish. Overall - not nice.
