3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ajnepple (486) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 9, 2013
330 ml bottle. Pours a deep amber/red color with a thick, semi-rocky white head that slowly dissipates and leaves little lacing on the mug. A rich and sweet malty aroma, caramel, toast. Medium body with a slick texture. Creamy malt flavors, light chocolate, faint smoke and twang with a light earthy hop bitterness. Not too shabby, Italy!

Discretamente buona per una birra commerciale, soprattutto pensando alla scarsità della moretti classica...
Colorito rosso ruggine con una copiosa schiuma...
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 CharlieNoodles (75) - Toulouse, FRANCE - FEB 4, 2013
This beer was offered to me by my son while we were visiting his new son. The beer poured a deep reddish brown with a large frothy head and lacing down the glass. The beer had sweet taste of malt and caramel. The medium body beer had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with a slightly sweet overtones.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jrodooo5 (500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JAN 22, 2013
It pours amber with a thin tan head which leaves a bit of lacing. The aroma is somewhat odd as it is primarily metallic. The taste is clean, crisp, and highly drinkable despite the 7.2%. Interesting.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chudwick (1086) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JAN 21, 2013
11.2oz bottle - pours dark amber with offwhite head and decent lacing. Nose is caramel and brown sugar with faint herbal hops. Flavor adds bread. Sweet. Quite malty with a medium body. Light alcohol aftertaste leading to a dry finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RexTalionis (1430) - FINLAND - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle 33 cl, BBE 1/2014. Pours clear brown in color with a creamy off-white head which leaves a nice cap on the beer. Sweet malty aroma with light roasted notes and some alcohol. Malty notes are indeed quite strong. Some yeasty notes and dough too, even some dark fruits might be present. Nutty taste, faint sweet elements also. Feels dry and quite heavy to drink at first. Dark biscuits in aftertaste. And no sign of the alcohol in taste, which is nice. This is actually a quite nice tasting beer with its malty sweetness, light hints of dark fruits and dark biscuit and yet the sweetness that isn’t that overwhelming.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Piero1987 (374) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 10, 2013
Red amber color with ivory head. Malt caramel, burnt, butter aroma. At taste is light sweet and smooth with a good texture but yeasty and butter flavour.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 MisterDenson (78) - Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Rating #71 for 2012. 7/1/12, 12 oz bottle cold from a flute glass. Sweet and slightly bitter aroma of beer. Deep red amber color with over a 2 inch head and light spotty lacing. The taste is sweet with a mild bitterness. Palate, medium bodied, medium carbonation with a thick oily finish and a sharp bitter bite.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lorenasa (141) - Florida, USA - DEC 29, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 Original rating below was 2.7. This time I got it on tap and it did not have the terrible bitter finish. Rather taste was of brown sugar and then an earthy woodsy finish.
Pours dark amber with a long lasting head. Aroma of a fresh beer. Taste is mild malt with strong bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
