2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Good white head, dark brown, black colour, thin cereal aroma, plus sweetness and malt, tate much the same. Ok, but rather sweet.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: Clear ruby with finer thick ivory head.
Aroma: Biscuit/bread, caramel, subtle notes of marzipan, floral, grassy/hay and slightly vinous.
Taste: Low sweetness, bitterness and sourness.
Palate: Thick smooth texture, low/average carbonation, with an abrupt caramel tasting finish with a gradually increasing bitter and sourness.
Comments: Not bad and quite enjoyable, not much of a glass lace.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 7.2%. Citric and vinous aroma, some ash. Clear brown colour. Stable off-white head. The flavour is malty with a little unclean cardboard. Caramelly finish with a slightly rough bitterness. Does not taste 7.2%. Good, but I would have expected more from that ABV.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours clear reddish amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops with notes of fruit and caramel. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to sweetish, malty and caramellish notes and hoppy touches. Sweetish aftertaste. Quite OK. Tastes less of alcohol than the ABV stated on the label.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from a 11.2oz bottle. It poured a deep, rich amber with a frothy, off-white head and uneven lacing. Strong malt aroma. Taste of malt, fruit and a bit of alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Part of a flight at Via Napoli in Epcot. Poured a rich amber color and aroma was of caramel malt. Very sweet up front with a dry, refreshing finish. Complimented my melon and priscutto pizza very well.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light brown, amber body, clean. Grainy aroma, bit toasty. Harsh malts, surprisingly, with little character and clean yeast. Not refreshing but also not expressive. Worst of both worst instead of a good compromise. Mass produced and not very crisp. (Bottle in a Torino bar)

Bottle before dinner at Casa Bella in Denville. Deep red-amber complexion with ample head. Sweet malty flavor. European in style. Smooth palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear dark copper-amber with a huge off white head. Head retention is better than average. The fruity aroma of a British ale. Tastes like one too. A bit of a creamy and cottony mouthfeel. Nothing extraordinary. Definitely European.
