COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double bock beer produced using high quality 100% malted barley, giving it a rich sweet taste and an intense fragrance of roasted malt. The amber colour that characterizes the beer, comes from kind of malt used in the recipe (malt is dried, roasted barley). Another key ingredients is hops, the variety used is particularly aromatic, giving a characteristic bitter aftertaste and a delicate fragrance to the beer. The Master Brewers advise a service temperature between 10° and 12° C.

If only Moretti put this much effort into their lager.... Nice rich brown color with thick fluffy head. Aroma of molasses and roast grain, taste is same with some dried fruit thrown in. Very nice indeed!

See-thru brown with a slight red tint. Tall, tight tan head. Scent is malt...fruity. Taste is bready, caramel,...sweet with an underlying herbal bitter. Pretty decent stuff.

Nice. Smooth. Amber a little sweet. I enjoy it at a local Italian restaurant. Would like to find similar

I usually don’t hold out a lot of hope for beers from Italy, but this one was a nice surprise. Pours a red/amber color with a soap, but fleeting, head. Smells like dark fruits, roast and malt. The taste is somewhat boring, typical malty, bready flavors with a sharp bite right before the finish. Toffee and caramel at the end. A fairly boring, but unoffensive, beer.

Nutty brown colour with a fine off white head. Ok lacing. A bit sweet aroma. Fruity and caramel malt. Full body. A bit sweet but not to heavy sweetness. Rich fruity flavour with some alcohol. Also a lot of caramel malt. Oily texture.

Bottle at Carrabba’s. Served in lager glass, reddish brown color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt. Taste is sweet, roasty and malty. Medium body, decent bitter finish. Surprised by this one, very good compared to its boring pale lager brother. Would do again in Italian restaurants.

0.33 L bottle. Brown colour with burgundy hints. Aroma has notes of caramel, fresh bread, raisins, bitter cherries, fresh roasted malt. Medium body, well balanced carbonation, bittersweet taste, bitter aftertaste.

Nareszcie dobrze mi się piło piwo z wielkiego zakładu. La Rossa to pięknie wyglądające piwo mocno czerwone, z wielką kremową pianą, która się dłógo utrzymuje. W smaku karmelowe i słodowe. Tym wrażeniom towarzyszy rozgrzewający finisz lecz zupełnie nie wuczuwa się mocy alkocholowej co jest sporym plusem.
