3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer was offered to me by my son while we were visiting his new son. The beer poured a deep reddish brown with a large frothy head and lacing down the glass. The beer had sweet taste of malt and caramel. The medium body beer had average carbonation. The finish was smooth with a slightly sweet overtones.

Italian. This beer is too light for my palate. Smooth but no really flavor shines through.

Ottima bock/vienna. Bel colore rosso scuro, malto in evidenza come da stile. Una delle mie preferite.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2015 12 oz bottle poured. No bottled date, and I have reasons to believe it?s been around a while. Pours a dark amber color. Soft bread and sweet malt aroma. Light flavor with bread and some banana. Minimum sweetness. Much better than expected. I will drink this again.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 330ml bottle at Da Marco Restaurante Italiano in Silver Spring, MD.
Clear, dark copper/chestnut with a large khaki head and very good lacing.
Aroma of caramel, toast, light fruit and very mild vanilla.
Taste of toffee, mild citrus, toast, caramel and a hint of vanilla.
Medium/full body and medium/low carbonization.
While not outstanding, this is a pleasant malty doppelbock.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle. It pours a clear amber color with an off white head. The aroma is decidedly malty with toast and caramel with hints of floral hops. The flavor is a bit thin with some strong toast, lighter notes of dried dark fruit and a decent amount of earthy bitterness for the style. A little doughy and flabby in the middle, but overall this is a decent malty lager. The mouthfeel could be a little better.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Can’t recall where from. Clear, dark copper colour. Thin, lasting, off white head. Fruity, toffee malts. Some vanilla pod. Taste is toffee sweet. A little, balancing, dry bitterness. Nice, smooth, creamy palate. Finishes mostly sweet, with a nad of bitterness. Very decent. Took me by surprise, this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (at Disney World). Poured a deeper amber color with a smaller sized head. Fruity, malty, and caramel. Not bad considering the location.
