Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2005 It is what it is. Nobody is going to confuse this with a classic creamy ale from Britian, but it doesnít suck either. The first bottle I had I thought it was a little thin and watery, but the more you drink it the more you notice the flavor, however subtle it is. My top two at the moment are still Greene King Abbot Ale and Belhaven Scottish Ale but if neither were available I would drink this. Not bad. I didnít detect any of the skunkiness some other reviewers mentioned. Too expensive for what it is.

This beer was very unfulfilling. It was bland, had a dull color... very much like an upgraded macrobrew. This beer is not worth the purchase.

Piss yellow, mildly carbonated, and about as dull as dishwater. Genarally corny in both aroma and flavor, with some mild herbal hop notes. At least it finishes clean. Itís a baby step up from most domestic macros, but not nearly woth the "premium import" price.

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is faintly malty, not much there. Taste is malty with notes of caramel, sweetness and some light hop bitterness. Taste if full but the mouthfeel is watery. Overall, this beer was not horrible.

Pale golden color with a generous white head. Nose is lightly sweet with a hint of grass. Flavor is light crisp lager with a touch of grassy hop bitterness and a thin palate. Nothing offensive, just an average lager. (He does look like a pimp, dosen't he?)

Draft: clear yellow and fizzy...sweet, metalic aroma and bubbly palate. Not much to offer, but usually you buy the none bubbly alcoholic drink from the Italians...Iíd stick to that.

Another boring lager, this one being too bitter for my sensitive and delicate tastebuds.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a pale yellow with an aggressive white foamy head. Metallic nose. Light flavor with slight skunkiness.

Well, Iím not terribly surprised that Heineken had some hand in making this one. Fairly standard lager, pored a clear gold wit ha small, white head. Aroma is mild hops with a slight sour note. Flavor is malty with a bitter hop finish. Fairly tasty brew, but nothing overly special. And, to agree with aceofhearts, the fellow on the bottle is pretty cool.
