COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe malt. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor.

Great drinkable beer for a hot, humid Italian afternoon. Distict hops and grass flavours. Doppio Malto has more flavour, but Birra Moretti is the one to drink when you’re not too serious about what you are drinking.

66cl bottle. poured a nice yellow with a bubly head.grassy and somewhat sweet with good carbonation. On a warm italian afternoon, this could be refreshing, but in cold and windy decemeber, I’ll pass.

Very light, clear pale straw. Moderate bubbly white head, some decent lace. Aromas were floral hops and light malt. Flavors were well-balanced with herbal, grapefruity hops set against a background of malt and grain and yeast. A bit of citrus was there as well. Nice mouthfeel and a well-measured bitter but clean finish. More flavor than the pale color would indicate. A good sessioner.

330ml brown bottle. Gold pour, small white head left some nice lacing. Sugary malt aroma. Flavour slightly fruity, some grains and dryness in the finish.

Bottle: Pours pale golden with a thin lacing white head; cardboard in the nose with a faint grassy hoppiness; watery, yes watery flavour with a light bitterness; slightly bitter-sweet finish, a bit tart.......Come acqua!

12 oz. bottle. Not impressed. I got a 6-pack of la Rossa for x-mas last year. Glad it wasn’t this one. Pale color, not much head. Aromas were faint, and the flavor not much better. Some slight bitterness in the finish, but not exciting.

Very watery flavor, not so strong. What else to say about this standard pale lager? Nothing special again.

Sampled this one on draft. Poured gold with a 1/4 inch head. Smell is of hops, grass, and butter. Taste is buttery with a weak hops aftertaste. This beer has a deeper and more lasting taste than the major pale lagers (I know that is not saying much). It’s definitely not a great beer, but I’d rather drink this than Bud Light.
