COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

I’m am probably mistaken but the taste finished with something that tasted like apple? Overall, not as awful as it has been portrayed. I even enjoyed the medium body.

[083-20061102] 355mL. Grainy bready pasta aroma, medium alcohol. Clear, light but deep yellow body with a very quick white head and a few bubbles around the edges. Quite beery flavour, still pasta-like with a hint of fish, little aftertaste. Palate is a light-medium body, quite gassy. An even-flavoured concoction that’s not offensive; kind of reminds me of Sleeman’s though.

The color was a watered down, pale yellow color. The head was barely there, fizzy, and white. The aroma was not complex at all. There was maybe some sourness, yeast, and a slight chemical (skunk-like) smell. The flavor was very watered down. It was so brief that i missed it on the first sip. There was a bland, corn taste. The palate was carbonated. And the finish....what finish?

Poured clear and gold with virtually no head and no lacing. The aroma was moldy and yeasty. The flavor was dull, slight hints of mold, yeast and a bit of hops. Very thin body and a tad overly carbonated. Not very exciting.

When in Rome, do what the Romans do - tried this in a little Italian resturant. Yellowish brew with not much of a head. Went down very smooth. Not a taste deserving of the price I paid for it

12 oz bottle via Cost Plus World Market. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is grassy hops and some malts. Not much to say about the flavor..there isn’t much other than some mild hops on a weak malt backbone, and a vegetal aftertaste. Watery mouthfeel. Thin body. Moderate/high carbonation.

A consistently flavoured citricy lager that’s easy drinking and refreshing. It has pleasant traces of hops, though is, in my view, over carbonated.

12oz trader joe’s. Smell’s like pizza or dough, tastes like a really bad beer, not beast bad but just not a quality beer. Probably the worst european beer i’ve had. However if your gonna drink it with beer, it wont totaly suck.

Pours pale yellow with a whitish head. Little aroma. What armoa there is smells of yeast and malt. Flavor is boring and carbonated. There is some bitterness but it does not taste like it comes from hops. Generally, this pale lager is better than most macros but just isn’t very exciting. Greatly overly priced compared to its competitors.

Some What unimpressed with this beer, very little aroma and weak malt taste, with a hint of corn, goes down easy but for the price will not drink again, unless free.
