COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

On tap. Golden yellow with big white head. Aroma of sweet straw. It is weak and bubbly, but finishes kinda dry. After walking around Rome all day it tasted pretty decent.

I enjoyed this beer, though it looks like a beer shouldn’t - incredibly yellow. Tasted pretty good at the beginning as it was very cold. But the flavor grew old by half glass.

Poured from bottle, pale as expected. Malt aroma. Beer was very cold at first, and it tasted OK, with more hop than malt. It, however, began to bite as the beer warmed and did not finish well. Overall, a mediocre beer.

Very pale yellow, thin head, poor retention. Little definable aroma. Very dilute watery palate. My friend was drinking a Boag’s Strongarm Bitter at the same time, and when I tasted it for comparison, the Boag’s tasted like it should be the one with the premium price by comparison! Truly forgettable. ...and what is with that dude in the green suit on the label? Yeah, THAT’S going to sell you a lot of beer!

Sweetly malty/grainy, light, frothy, tenuous aroma, slight metallic tang to light hops, dilute. Acceptable quencher at best.

Pale yellow body, small white head. Sweet vaguely grainy aroma. Flavour has generic sweetness with grassy mild bitterness from the hops. Thin bodied, with a lingering sweetness in the aftertaste. Dull

Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe malt. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor.

Great drinkable beer for a hot, humid Italian afternoon. Distict hops and grass flavours. Doppio Malto has more flavour, but Birra Moretti is the one to drink when you’re not too serious about what you are drinking.

66cl bottle. poured a nice yellow with a bubly head.grassy and somewhat sweet with good carbonation. On a warm italian afternoon, this could be refreshing, but in cold and windy decemeber, I’ll pass.

Very light, clear pale straw. Moderate bubbly white head, some decent lace. Aromas were floral hops and light malt. Flavors were well-balanced with herbal, grapefruity hops set against a background of malt and grain and yeast. A bit of citrus was there as well. Nice mouthfeel and a well-measured bitter but clean finish. More flavor than the pale color would indicate. A good sessioner.
