3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
I liked this much more than I expected I would. Not a remarkable beer, but lots of grassy and floral hoppiness and a nice bitter finish. A drinkable big-company pilsner.

Typical of Italian pilsners in general - clean and dry, with faint malt notes and a grassy hop character in the finish. Light body, but the carbonation while enthusiastic is not as harsh as your average macro lager.

I picked this one up simply because I hadn't rated anything from Italy, yet. I HOPE, and doubt, that this is the best that wonderful nation has to offer. Reminiscent of many watery American beers. Little real flavor and unremarkable complexity make this beer a less than good buy.

Nothing to do handstands over. Possibly a couple of back flips, but defiantly not handstands. I enjoyed looking at the guy on the label. He seemed to be in quite a deep trance. What devious plans he was concocting behind his lonesome grin? Who knows, its not like it matters now I’m sure he’s long dead. Fair Italian brew.

I remember going to a New Year's party at a friend's place, and this was the only beer available. *Sigh*
A decent beer for the occasional drinker. Some love it, I don't.

Crappy. Watered down Italian swill. Very bland. This has a little more flavor than some beers in its class but not much more. Kind of skunky. Very forgetable beer. Don't waste your time with one.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2005 I find it to be absolutely delicious. Very floral, with a bitter undertone. I also taste a bit of cream and fruit. Wonderful fragarance and mouthfeel. This is one of my favorite beers.

Typical gold colour with a large white head and decent lacing. Taste starts off malty and ends rather thin and flat.

Kind of spicy and bitter, but overall a typical lager, that could be oh so much worse.
