Bland Euro lager. Skip this and look for the brewer’s mighty La Rossa. This poured a pale gold colour with a brief white head. The aroma has some cedary hops and buttery malt. Flavourwise, it starts well with hints of orange but it pulls up short and has no body. (Bottle)

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear yellow, with a big but weak white head. Grainy, slightly skunky (despite the brown bottle) aroma. Some dirty hop flavor, some cereal flavor.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUN 2, 2013 Bottle @ home. Pours brilliantly clear yellow with a medium, frothy and bubbly white head, short retention with spare lacing. The head recedes to the glass edge. Aroma is light grainy and skunks malt initially with spicy hops notes. Light floral and fruity notes appear next, though not estery. Aroma is clean with no off aromas. The fruitiness increases as the beer warms. Flavor is grainy and husky malt with a faint toast character, light spicy hops and light hop bitterness, and clean fermentation with no esters or off flavors. Well-balanced and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Poured a pale yellow with a small dissappearing head. Not much of an aroma to speak of. Some malt presence but nothing to write home about. Another generic euro-lager.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Light straw body with no head, just a ring of bubbles. Decent malt presence with a good amount of hops. Notes of honey, straw, bitter hops, and some caramel. Average in every way. I would drink this again.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Medium gold to bronze. Shows some decent lacing. Subtle nose, very hard to pick up any hop or malt character. Remains subtle in the palate with standard macro larger notes but the strange thing is (and I can’t put my finger on it) that the taste has more appeal that standard pale / premium largers. Huh?
Finishes fizzy and slightly bitter. Not bad.

Pretty weak, but somehow tastes pretty good with pizza...I know, Iknow, I’m very suggestable and easily manipulated by advertising. Basically just another Macro...and aren’t we done with those?

Little to no head on a brassy golden color. Light in aroma and flavor. Inoffensive basically. Why bother though?
