Yeah, nice chap with an elegant moustache. Rather soft and low hopped beer that is designed to be served with a meal with cream, a la carbonara or alfredo. This is a beer that is not sure of where it fits.

Bottled. Bright and bubbly, straw coloured larger. Again slight malt flavour, nothing to brag about. Just managed to edged out the Peroni on the night. Enzo’s Wine Bar, London.

Hmm. The Italian equivalent of Bud. No head, no lace, weak yellow color. Slightly hoppy, nothing special to be noted. Was the only thing they had that I hadn't had already.

Really not much here. light and somewhat skunky , golden light color, no hint of hop flavour, weak, mindless and time for something better

not a very powerful beer. Very light on the hops, but still a bitter edge. Poured a yellow color with a white head and had a boring malty aroma.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2008 Rerate Very light golden pour, faint light white head. Grainy aroma, some metallic notes. Crisp lager flavor, some grassy notes, touch of biscuity maltiness. Dryish mouthfeel - about right for a lager in thickness. Would be enjoyable with a spicy meal Overall, clean and crsip and refreshing. Not sure what I was thinking before with a 3.8! Original 3.8! Hint of hops in the aroma - mildly pleasing. Although light in color (its supposed to be) the ever flowing cascade of light golden bubbles was captivating. Light, ever present head with good lacing was a bonus. Classic look to the bottle with the distinguished gentleman in the green suit hoisting a cold one - how can you go wrong with that? Flavor - a little bit of sweetness mixed in with the light hoppy flavor. Goes down ever so smooth. This will never make it as one of the world class beers in this forum but it is an enjoyable diversion and one that will be around for quite a while.

Had this with veal parmesan and enjoyed it. Gold color, goes down clean and easy, light to medium body, taste was good but not that strong.

Slightly hoppy aroma, not skunky at all unlike Nastro azzuro. Good maltiness in taste, only a little bitterness in the finish. I like it but it's only for those who like a malty beer.

A pretty good beer from Italy. Who'd have thought it? Goes great with Italian food. I had it last night at the local Mom & Pop
Italian restaurant for the first time. I wanted to try something different, and I wasn't disappointed. Pours out a nice, golden
color, with a tight, white head. Aromas of hops hit you right away, with a subtle maltiness to it. Tastes even better than it looks,
which surprized me yet again.

Skunky odor. Skunky lager taste. A skunky beer overall. Really skunky. I think I had a skunky bottle. This tasted really skunky.
