Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Not impressed. Light gold color, kind of dry and very watery. Will not buy again. Drain pour.

Bottle: Felt it was rather dry. Nothing special. The color looked like an american macro to me, very light. I agree though, when in Italy drink some red wine, not beer!

Bottle. Clear light amber with average white head. Aroma and flavor light hop with a dry light body and a short refreshing finish. Below average for style.

Nothing special here. Straw colour, clear, maybe a bit of corn and malt aroma. Mouthfeel is very carbonated, weak malt, corn and yeast flavours. As the Waiter (which was very Italian by the way) told me, "We got the Vinos, can’t expect much from our beer"....

Straw color with a taller, white head that settles to a chunk of sturdy bubbles. Very dry aromas, with only a hint of malt and some herbal hops. A sweetness through out the quaff that is not lead to much of a thought that it was produced by malt. Hint of floral bitterness and a touch of resin. Quite simple and only marginally better than most american macros.

Pretty good stuff (although, not as good as the La Rossa). Malty, nice color and flavor.

Clear and yellow, with a good white head, big carbonation. Spot on. Nose is typical skunky euro-lager smell, corny, floral, not terribly pleasant, but neither offensive. Taste: not much here. whisper thin, barely enters the mouth, and quits before it comes. No flavor, but not awful, just very minor. Lightest body, no discernible finish, disappointing. Must be great at washing away the heat of spicy Italian food, but on it’s own, negligible. their doppelbock rocks, though.

A yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is of straw and slightly sour. The flavor is of straw and grain on a sweet and sour background. The end is quite dry from hops, but in the aftertaste it turns metallic.

A decent pale lager. Nice full flavour although lots of corn. It has a plesant spiciness that comes through. Its best cold with Italian food. Great golden colour.
