Bottle. Pale golden colour with foamy, quickly dying white head. Faint malty aroma. Not much going on in the taste department, some sweet malts. Light and inoffensive enough; one of the ’ok with food’ brigade.

One good Italian beer. Foam and persistence of medium level. Yellow color gold, shining and of good fizzy.

I’ve only had this one in the bottle. At Italian restaurants and the like, I usually opt for Moretti over Peroni. It’s slightly more bitter, and I appreciate a bit of an aftertaste when it comes to lagers. Starts off fizzy but then settles down. Near the end, the beer seems like a lite beer, which is a little bit of a drawback.

Can. Weak hoppy nose, some sourness. Clear yellow body, small white head. Light malts and faint touch of hops. Very bland beer.

Gosh! I sort of expected more from this beer. Having lived in Italy at an age too young to have drunk beer, I was excited at the prospect of an Italian beer when I saw it. However, this magnificent piece of mediocrity was a bit below the range of excellence that I had hoped for. Malty but seriously lacking any hoppines, very little head, a very bland appearance and odor, and a slightly soapy taste that doesn’t wash too well, all lead to a very mediocre rating.

Oh yeah this is a bunk beer alright. Look at that the alcohol percent 4.5% ? come on didnt have to skimp it. Has light skunk and watery gold appearance. No head but has some sour grass that at least makes it drinkable. Guess this is the budweiser of Italy.

Yellow colour with small white head. Some sweetness in the aroma. Flavor has some malts, finish is bitter and dry. All in all boring.

Pale gold with a white head. Aroma are buttery and floral with some soapiness. Flavours are soft, sweet malts with pepper on the palate at the finish. Not very complex but inoffensive.

Had this tonight with dinner at an Italian restaurant. Bottled. Blond body with a quickly receding frothy white head. Nose is malty with light straw/hay notes and faint grains. Taste is light grassy notes and malt with thinner grains. lacking of any richness in flavor, however, it went well with the veal I had with it. It does serve a purpose, in other words. Body was leaning towards light. Moderate carbonation. Finish is more grassiness, light malts, and light graininess. Not too bad.
