COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Recommended by the owner? of a good Italian restaurant in Windsor as a "darker, more interesting beer." Sheesh. And I could have been hitting up Patrick O’Ryan and his 25 beers on tap.

Skunky aroma right from the start. Billowy white head with a darker golden body. Taste is watery with some slight bitter hops qualities. Easily quaffable, but only because the watery consistency. Bland and boring.

Light, malt, acidic, yellow, much carbonation. Hoppy. White bubbly head. Like your average beer on tap at a mea

Well it’s slightly more appealing than the macro-swill and other Euro-lagers available around here, but still not very good. It has a little more colour than I expected and was quite malty - not as crisp as I expected but still OK.

Clear golden colour with a small head. Aroma starts a little skunky, but that passes and leaves a bit of fruity malt and grassy hops. Light body, clean malt flavour, dry finish with minimal hops. Decent for a mass market Euro-lager.

Aroma of freshly cut grass. First taste is tart, but the aftertaste is disappointingly absent. Uneven head, rather active carbonation.

golder color with lots of carbonation. Nothing special. Just a typical import trying to make a buck in the US by being a flashy Italian beer.

Ok bought in 23.3 oz bottle, The appearance is of the regular run of the mill Euro-lager..pale golden with a large frothy white head, looks well carbonated. The aroma is slightly hoppy and seems fresh. Taste is a good enough balance between semi-sweet doughy malts and floral hops, seems similar to fresh Beck's. Pretty average on the palate..not dry at the finish. Quite drinkable, but by no means a stand out.

A cold and crisp European lager, just like all the rest of them. No better or no worse. Decent thirst quencher.

Pale golden colour with fluffy white head. Caramel malt aroma with floral hop aroma. Flavour is not good, with a distinct wet cardboard. The body is thin, with some faint maltiness and faintly spicy hops. Poorly done.
