1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
bottle - Yawn. It’s yet another watery, mostly tasteless pale lager. As others have already mentioned, the aroma is of grain, skunk, and a bit of hops. The flavor is a thin, watered down malt something or other with a bit of hops noticeable. It’s somewhat refreshing and not terribly offensive, except for the fact that the price includes import tax for more of the same boring, watery beer that pervades U.S. macrobrews already.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours golden yellow with white head that fades quickly. Aroma of grains, skunk and some weak hops. Flavor is more or less a watered down version of the aroma. Crisp finish. Not as offending as other beers in this category.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Giuseppe’s in New Brighton, MN. Pretty, bubbly light gold with a small, creamy, lasting white head. The aroma is very interesting, very pleasant bread dough and other yeasty character. The flavor falls flat though: a standard pale lager with way too much DMS (in addition to some sweet maltiness) and a long, flat bitter finish with a definite metallic note. Palate is lively, crisp, very refreshing. If the flavor lived up to the aroma this could be a good beer, but as it is it’s not much to speak of.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled, in Italy. A pale beer in more than one sense of the word. No character, no taste, brewed to be served ice cold on a hot day.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Poured from a bottle at Double Happiness in Manhattan. Flat, skunky and grainy. Perhaps would have been better with food. Hard to drink, but hardly the worst lager out there.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
For a meditereanian brew, this one isn’t too bad. Don’t get me wrong; it is still a bad brew. :D However in the aroma besides grain i could even determine some (better) hops. Clear, yellow-golden coloured with not much head. Taste is sweet, grainy, bit hoppy. Fresh and watery.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
When poured from a bottle, this beer had a thin, white head. The beer was very pale with little aroma. The flavor was sharp, but not hoppy. The finish was clean.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from bottle into pint glass. Not a whole lot going on here, but it’s better than your average pale lager. Mild grassy hops and grainy aroma with similiar taste. Finishes clean. As a side note I was happy that they avoided the skunk-producing green bottles that some OTHER european lagers use.
