COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Mellonius (69) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - NOV 29, 2010
Pours a very pale yellow with fluffy white head that lingers for very long. Smell is almost faint, with subtle malty and bready notes. Very watery on the palate. Tastes grainy, almost corny. Resembles other European pale lagers that I have tried. Very little bitternes to speak of. The finish is quite crispy and refreshing. It is very sessionable, but not memorable at all. Just something to sip while you eat appetizers with your buddies.

Pours a pale, clear yellow with a minor amount of white head. The aroma isn’t too stark in any direction--there’s a little bit of malt and some European hops. Taste is similar; just a tad bit sweet. Mouthfeel is thin with a moderate amount of carbonation. Drinkability is pretty good, but a little too much carbonation and not enough flavor for me. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 10-04-2009

Parents brought it back from Italy 33cl: Pours a super pale with a white head. Aroma is of grains and a tiny bit of hops. Taste is not all that bad. Grainy and some meager hops. Better than Peroni, which is widely known to be amongst the worst beers, but still not all that great. Mostly drinkable.

0.33l bottle. Tasted this once before at lunch when I was in Livorno and was quite looking forward to tasting again. First you notice is the thin yellow - almost transparent color with no head. Grassy and citrusy nose and hints of pine. Watery and extremely thin beer, but you can feel some hops in the end, and that saves it some what.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of grain and some sort of herbs. Flavours is watery, metallic with a little bitterness at the end. Easy drinkable but very boring.

Draught @ Di Maggio’s restaurant, Glasgow. Bright hoppy cereal biscuit aroma and flavour. Golden yellow colour. Finished better than it started. Not as bad as other reviews suggest.

Small bottle. Average appearance. Aroma is slightly grainy and taste has some cardboard. But it looks like the dude on the label doesn’t care, he is cool with it.
