COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Very typical looking/smelling macro. Don’t get fooled into thinking this will be any good because it’s imported. Metallic, grassy and grainy. Barely acceptable as a pizza beer.

330ml bottle from the LCBO. Typical bland, skunky euro lager. My first Italian beer. Their macros are no different than any one else’s I guess.

grass, if anything is the overwhelming taste with this one. just like every other crappy european pale lager. not even refreshing as a good lawnmower beer.

Oh God. The boredom. The endless, endless boredom provided by this beer. It’s just like a hundred thousand other commercial lagers I’ve tasted. Just exactly like all the rest. Can’t be bothered rating, the numbers speak for themselves. You’re not missing out.

12oz bottle. Crystal clear pale straw body topped by small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grass/straw, some apricot, bread, plastic. Taste is medium sweet, grass, some straw, bread, apricot. Light body, some crispness.

Pale yellow with a fragmented head. Weak aromas of hay, corn and rice. The flavour is sweet and watery with a weak hop ending.
