COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow color with lots of bubbles. Medium sized creamy, frothy head. Decent head retention and fair lacing. Aroma is creamed corn with very faint grassy notes. Taste is grainy and grassy with sweet corn notes and light toastiness. Thin-medium bodied.

It was on offer somewhere. Below average nothingness. Sweet and malty, metallic flavour. Very little flavour or aroma.

Seriously. No Taste. That makes this better than other beer by default because since it doesn’t taste, it doesn’t taste bad. I bought because of the guy on the label.

Basically just like drink an Italian version of Heineken. Not a shock at all to see that they’re made by the same brewing concern. Bland, subpar.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2009 Bottle. Golden with small white head. A bit sweet and slightly malty but was tasteless otherwise. Not terrible just not something to get excited over. Went down ok with pizza though.

Pours a dark gold colour with a thin, white head. It has a sweet, hoppy aroma. The taste is rather hoppy and the malt is slightly sweet. It has a moderate mouthfeel. Overall, this lager is better than lots of lagers, but it’s still a pretty basic lager without much complexity.
