Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

660ml bottle [Thanks to both Chris and Bernd for catering an exemplar at a time]. Clear, pale golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, fairly lacing, white head. Expressionless, flat grainy aroma. Taste is monotonously grainy, strawy and waxy, hints of reed; smooth and soft palate, creamy mouthfeel.

Butelka 660 ml. Złe. Bardzo klarowne, piana początkowo duża, szybiutko opadła. Barwa złota, żółta. Wodniste, słodowe. Średnie wysycenie.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2016 660 ml bottle at the italian restaurant. Straw color, short lasting white head, almost no lacing. Nothing interesting in the aroma, smells rather bad. Malty taste, bit sweet, no bitterness at all. Moderate carbonization, easy to drink. Average pale lager in overall.

Charakteryzuję się słomkową barwą typową dla piw lager, gęstą długo utrzymującą się pianą. Dość mocno nagazowane,w smaku lekkie, z delikatną goryczką.

Pours a pale straw blond, with a tiny ring of bubbles. Smells of mild bitter hops, slight funk. Taste isn’t bitter at all in fact it’s mostly the carbonation. Very high carb, taste is sweet with a minor mineral type of presence. Aftertaste is sharp and almost drying.

The bottle looks better than the beer in my glass. Little carbonation. Taste and mouthfeel is okay-ish, a little bitter-sweet in the aftertaste.

Barwa słomkowa, piana biała na początku obfita a potem opada. W aromacie lekkie nuty chmielowe ale dominują słodowe. Podobnie w smaku. Lekkie przyjemne piwo bez większych wad.

Probably the best smelling beer ever... in my opinion. Great taste, no unpleasant aftertaste either. Not bloated of filling. Drinkable with anything or nothing. Can’t recommend it enough!
