COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2015 It is obvious that this beer is brewed by Heineken. It has a disgusting taste, barely head, neither aroma. I had some expectatives when I decided to taste it but it was a total disappointment.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2015 Keg at The Quiet Woman, Leek. A clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of cereal malts, maize and grass. Taste of sweet, earthy cereal, maize, grass and a hint of orange. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A herbal bitter finish. A drinkable lager, unexciting though.

Light golden. Head fades quickly. Light grain aroma. This beer has an adjunct flavor of maize and rice. Does not finish cleanly.

Generic Italian lager deeper colouring quite low carbonation could be a lot of euro brews but quite crisp tasting nothing to get excited about.

Bottle at a random pizza place in Fullerton circa 2004. (From notes) pours a light yellow with medium white head. Aroma is a light roast malt, wheat chaff and some burnt peanut. Taste is nutty, wheat, slight banana.

There’s a reason Italy isn’t known for its beers. I’m sure there are some good ones to be found there but this isn’t one of them.

Een licht gelig, bijna waterig pils met een licht schuimige kraag. Daarentegen wel een vol hoppig aroma dat zeer aanwezig is. lekkere hopbitter smaak en toch fris. Alleen niet veel nasmaak te bekennen. A slightly yellow, almost water-like pilsener with a slightly foamy head. However, it has a nice, full hoppy aroma which is quite present. A nice, hopbitter taste and yet fresh, but not much of an aftertaste.
