COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

bottle. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a white head. Nose is of pilsner hops and grain. Taste is grain and some malt. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with some carbonation. Not good, but better than BMC.

Bottle. Light aromas of grain, dried grass and cooked corn. Head is average size, frothy, white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear amber/gold. flavor starts lightly acidic and finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery has a lively carbonation and a dry finish. Light and bland, but refreshing enough to accompany a spicy, salty pizza.

Clear yellow with a big sticky white foam. Simple grainy aroma, light metallic. Taste is sweet, corn, cereal, light metallic note.

You can’t really go wrong with this beer. Tastes refreshing and smells sweet. Don’t expect a deep flavorful special beer it’s your average lager, but a good one for Italy

Sweet watery beer very heineken like slight skunky aroma. Clean crisp drinkable beer on a hot day. Finish is abrupt slightly bitter. Leaves you thirsty for more.Drinkability ? Not a bad beer just a little over priced in U.S.

Small white head. Yellow body with carbonation. Mild straw and rubber aroma with faint sulphury notes. Dry mealy straw taste with rubbery notes. Mid-bodied. Dusty mouthfeel. Dry dusty straw aftertaste with dandelion notes. Surprisingly dry. Clean and fairly fresh. Not bad. (0.33l bottle, Ekebergrestauranten, Oslo.)

66cl bottle. A clear pale yellow beer with a loose disappearing white head. Aromas of light grainy malts and very mild lemony hops. Light bodied with watery flavours of bland corn malts and an abrupt bittersweet finish. Very light on everything and instantly forgettable. I recommend that when in Italy it’s best to stick to the wines...
