Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Grains, sweet, pale golden with a medium and not persistant white head, light body, medium carbonation, taste of grains, watery, quite bitter in the aftertaste...like many beers becomes good after three or four maybe five bottles.

33 cl bottle. Crystal clear, golden yellow straw colour, thick white head, nice carbonation. Aroma is typical, generic European lager. Mouthfeel is fizzy and oily. Tastes like a typical adjunct kind of common pale lager, nothing special at all. Refreshing on a hot day, period.

Pale yellow color, with a white head, disappearing. Aroma is malt, straw. Taste is malty, slightly bitter in the end. Sure a summer beer, refreshing in a hot day, ok with a pizza.

Pours yellow gold with a short lived fizzy white head. Carmel, malt and grass aroma. Sweet carmel taste with grain taste. Would be better if it weren’t for the metallic aftertaste.

I drank the last time this beer at CDG Paris airport, travelling to Mexico and once at Domodossala. It is a typical lager, standard, you don’t have to expect nothing special. The color is yellow and gold, average carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is malty, maybe you have some corn, few hop, watery, a bit metalic.

33cl bottle at Hotel Comtes de Challant in Fénis, Italy (5 V 2016). A lager of 4.6% ABV, colouring orange-golden with a frothy white collar. The brew comes with medium carbonation, lots of water, some bitterness. The taste contains grainy sweets too. This beer is so very basic, dull, and... simply is not tasteful.

Átlagos lágeres ízvilág, enyhén kesernyés, utóíze rövid. Közepesen testes, tök átlagos sör.
