Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Pours clear pale golden yellow, two fingers of white head which dissipates to a thin cover after a few minutes. Aroma is grass and grains. Medium sweet. Not all that much flavor.

Aroma: some malts, a little bit of corn, a whiff of cardboard. Appearance: yellowish golden; clear; head medium, fine, stable only in its vestigial form. Taste: mildly bitter, mildly sweet. Palate: body on the light side; carbonation soft; finish effectively none. Overall: meh.

330ml bottle @ Lyon’s Den Gourmet Burger, Shrewsbury prior to my Firestarter burger which I finished and got my photo taken and a free milkshake! Whoo. This was extremely light, not terrible but just not a lot to it.

Originally rated on 7/9/08. Upon pouring the head fizzed like alka-seltzer, then the head disappered within a minute, barely any carbonation. It looked as if it had sat out an hour or two before serving. It had no aroma and no taste, unless you count the aftertaste which was incredibly faint malts. This is the closest thing i have had to water to date. I only gave it this high of a rating because it wasnt offensive in anyway. Save your money.
