Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Bottle from Asda and drunk at home. Itís your typical mass produced premium lager. It has a little lemon hop it has some lager yeast and malt. But it has as much similarity to Keesman Herren Pils as does my rendition of Stop Right Now does to the Spice Girls original. One is a clumsy badly put together construct the other is a marvellous heart lifting awe inspiring piece of brilliance. Itís not terrible and I may struggle through the 66cl bottle cos itís cold and Iím so super hot right now. And I want chicken fillets. Oh man my life has to make more sense than this. Oh look a rare orchid, No cow, no! Donít eat it. Oh crap.

La birra italiana per eccellenza, nonchŤ pessima, non ha quasi sapore, eppure continua ancora ad avere mercato.

Bland macro lager, malt influence, but little in the way of flavour. Thought this would have more taste

Bottle. Golden yellow with medium sized whitish foamy head, slight hops aroma, high carbonation, slightly bitter taste, abrupt finish. Generic lager.

Playing KB Dark Side, in Legado de Yuste glass. An avarage macro lager, like the spanish ones, although not as bad as a house brand

Bottle pours a clear pale golden white a large white head. Aroma of lager yeast, onion, grain, and dry grassy hops. Dry grains and malt, grassy hops, lager yeast. Nothing too special, but a well craft lager and very drinkable with some aspects hitting the right note.

Pours pale golden with white head. Aroma is low: honey, bread. Soft, easy to drink, fizzy. Medium bitter finish.

I donít speak Italian but I do have a an inkling as to what this can claims. It seems to be that it is the Molson Canadian of Italy. Words such as "quality", "premium", "tradition" and "Italy" all grasp for the straws that can never be. Bad? No. Good? Also no. Middle of the thoroughfare is where this beer lurks, a poor mans Pilsner or a rich mans Bud. With the subtle spicy and floral hopping, yes, it quenches, but still something is left desired. At the end of the live long day, this exists, and the world that Mr. Moretti exists in is better than that which he does not.

From can pours a yellow colour with next to no head, Aroma of grass, corn and a bit metallic. Taste is pretty bland, mild sweetness and bitter. As far as the style goes it is drinkable and alright, especially when cold on a hot day
