COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

it’s one of my favourite beers to drink everyday, not too strong and not too light, perfect for a Pizza or many "normal" italian dishes.

12 oz bottle from BOttlescrew Bills, Calgary, AB. Pours a golden plain boring colour with a thin tight white head. Aroma of grain and not much else. Flavour of grainy malts, slight hoppiness and hints of some type of fruit- can’t put my finger on what. Mouthfeel is plain and normal. Moretti is a plain and average pale lager that is fairly easy to drink and tastes okay.

12-ounce bottle. Pours a standard golden-lager color and a small white head that recedes so fast, you’d think there was a warrant out for its arrest. No aroma whatsoever. Flavors include grains and seltzer water with an apple-like finish. Light body and full carbonation. Crisp and clean. Refreshing, but not much to speak of here.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear yellow-golden color with thick frothy white head. Aroma is bready and yeasty with some notes of grain. Flavor is typical for a lager: hints of sweet malt, grain and bread with just a touch of honey. Watery overall with a slightly unpleasant finish.

Pours with a yellow golden hue. Clarity is a bit hazy - can’t see fully through the glass. The head is small and is mostly diminishing. The beer also has light, very light carbonation. Strong grain aroma, with some yeast, with light hops. Start is a little watery but the finish is bittersweet! Feels very light on the palate! Not a bad pale lager at all! Not a bad beer to drink huddled around a T.V. watching the 2008 Summer Olympics!
