COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

The second of the main Italian beers. A pale lager thats better than Peroni, but still not that great. I did enjoy drinking it while I was in Italy though.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2008 0.33l bottle, standard lager pour, smell and look. Served in an unsual glass, basically a small wine glass with the logo on. Taste is standard for lager, crisp and a smidge of hops, not much else. Decent euro-lager.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2008 Bottle: Pours a golden color with very little head. Not much flavor just another unimpressive beer. It was ok, but nothing to get excited about.

Can 0,33ltr bought in Italy: Beer with the lool-a-like of Guus Hiddink. Golden but slight sweet taste, and mild bitter finish.
