COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

This is just a plain old beer. Like the Budweiser of America. Not a very good beer.

12 oz bottle in Little Italy, NYC. Pours a golden color slightly darker than Peroni with less foam. Aroma is very faint and sharp, minimal hop character. Taste is bitter but not overwhelming, and palate is average. Better than Peroni.

Very nice hoppy aroma, medium head. Lightweight, with some graininy notes and significant bitterness in finish. Quite nice actually, better than I expected from an Italian lager.

355ml bottle, 4.6% a/v Pours a light crisp straw colour with a very generous white head. Smells like some mild malt and a bit of funk. Taste is fairly unoffensive, mainly some malt with a bit of hops to finish it off. Fairly watery mouthfeel, overall not a bad beer, but I dont imagine I’ll be rushing out to buy more either.

Draft pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin white head. Slightly sweet, malty aroma. Mild flavor included some malt and hops. Crisp and easy to drink. Not bad on draft, but I wouldn’t drink on a regular basis.

Pours a very clear light straw gold with a yellow touch to it, had a bit of glow to it, I hardly saw any effervescence, there was a thin head of white bubbles that collapse to a partial cover and ring, faint malt and grass(?) aromas, I detected no malt sweetness if any, no corn aroma either which is good, reminds me of some of European pale lagers, sip is pretty crisp with a faint malt flavor, very faint sweetness for a fleeting second but this is pretty dry and has a bite that appears to be more then the hops, has an ample supply of carbonation that helps to give a bite at the finish and leaves the tongue with a citrus (a little lemon) feel, the dry bite sticks for a bit to, this is dry on the palate and has sort of a thin mouth feel (watery like, light bodied beer), I think this would be good with Pizza.

Pale golden colour, small white head. Some faint malts in the aroma. Flavour is a bit malty with a metallic finish. Forgettable.
