COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

On keg at The Golf Tavern. I felt like something cold on a warm day. A pale straw colour with a thick white head (fairly large bubbles). Aroma of yeast and corn. Fresh corny flavour. Heavy carbonation with a fair CO2 bite. Quite refreshing with a lingering corn chip flavour (CC’s / Original Doritio’s).

Pretty much your average lager in every way. Has some taste but not much. Clear golden, all malts.

Bottle (dmg notes). Super clear - super boring! Pale yellow. Aroma is prickling in the nose. Reminds me of Roskilde Festival. Medium bitter, some freshness. Vague flavour in general. Not bad as such just totally bland and meaningless.

Not a lot going on with this beer. Slightly better than the big American macros but that isn’t saying much is it.

Enjoyed to an Italian meal: Bottled. Pours clear and deep golden with a large, white head. Nose of grass and fruit notes. Medium sweet flavour wiyh grass and hoppy notes. Light bodied, watery texture with average carbonation. Ends up more dry with a little bitterness.

Bottle 33cl in an Italian restaurant, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on grassy hops. Aroma is medium sweet with straw and sour notes. Strange lager, drinkable but no more.

From the 330 ml. bottle marked 9323390HL. It pours pale yellow with a fizzy white head. The aroma has a bit of pale malts with a slight hoppy character. The body is thin but also creamy and smooth. The taste is quite bitter but more like chewing an aspirin. It is almost dry.
